Omoyele Sowore is not a Yoruba man he is an Ijaw from Ondo state. I am a little surprised he did not correct the reporter when she called him a Yoruba man. I have followed Sowore since the beginning of Sahara Reporters. I have always seen him as a proud courageous and patriotic Nigerian and Ijaw man. I wish him the best of luck but Nigeria is not an easy fish to fry. Whilst tribe should not be important in presidential politics in Nigeria it can have a great impact. My advice is that he let people know who he is from the get go. The Apoi and Arogbo Ijaw have had a lot of interaction with Yorubas many taking Yoruba wives but they are still Izon even though their state is Ondo. It is always a pleasure to see new blood in Nigerian politics but the job may be at more difficult than he anticipates, especially because he is a new comer!!!!!

i have watched Sowore for the last two-hour national discourse. I see hope in the country. Our incapable leaders potray Nigeria as a complex country to govern. However, we know that a viable political economic structure begins with a visionary leader with political will. Sowore can deliver and help chatter a new course for Nigeria. Omoyele Sowore is not a Yoruba man he is an Ijaw from Ondo state. I am a little surprised he did not correct the reporter when she called him a Yoruba man. I have followed Sowore since the beginning of Sahara Reporters. I have always seen him as a proud courageous and patriotic Nigerian and Ijaw man. I wish him the best of luck but Nigeria is not an easy fish to fry. Whilst tribe should not be important in presidential politics in Nigeria it can have a great impact. My advice is that he let people know who he is from the get go. The Apoi and Arogbo Ijaw have had a lot of interaction with Yorubas many taking Yoruba wives but they are still Izon even though their state is Ondo. It is always a pleasure to see new blood in Nigerian politics but the job may be at more difficult than he anticipates, especially because he is a new comer!!!!!

i have watched Sowore for the last two-hour national discourse. I see hope in the country. Our incapable leaders potray Nigeria as a complex country to govern. However, we know that a viable political economic structure begins with a visionary leader with political will. Sowore can deliver and help chatter a new course for Nigeria. I would have loved a situation where he could go under Labor Party platform.
Much has been said about the unprofessional conduct of the ladies and I don't have anything more to say about them.

This interview seemed more like an attack rather than getting to understand his perspective. I wish I heard more from him. Its sad when people are unprofessional. I love the way he handled the interview (and interviewers) but I’d love to see a more constructive interview with intellectuals.
