- In over fifty years, Fabio Buzzi has won just as many world titles. Born in 1943, Buzzi has marked offshore history, establishing speed records in all classes, and founding FB Design which researches, designs and manufactures competition boats. FPT Industrial has contributed to his success, providing engines that have been able to establish records as the New York-Bermuda in 17 hours in 2012, the Monte Carlo-Venice in 2016 and the Cowes-Torquay-Cowes in 2010. In this video, Buzzi narrates his long-lasting partnership with FPT Industrial, his victories and the engines that take offshore boats like RED FPT to 165 km/h.

What a life.
I sure hope he is looking down on his accomplishments and smiles , what he has done in his life is absolutely amazing. Just take a second and watch that boat Gallup through the rough water like a race horse when everyone else was just trying to get up on Plaine. He sure was someone very special. Breath taking watching his boats do what they do best .
Fabulous Fabio is now in his 70's and hasn't slowed down a bit! Incredible man! From Key West Florida, United States,we love him just as much as the Italians!

Just a living legend when it comes to offshore powerboat racing. But what can we say about the english translation that adds his four 600 hp FPT diesel engines to become 4600 hp total.....
He says the engine has built with 300 hp 6,7 litres, but with a number of modification they top up 600hp for a top speed of 102 m/h
