Hi A A, for men, I would not recommend no.3 The Bow, unless you have a cute daughter who loves to see a bow on daddy. Other 4 ways are pretty much unisex, just like trench coat which is also very unisex.
Hi Gloria, the traditional trench coat usually comes with a buckle like Burberry trench coat. If you don't like tied belt, you can always use the buckle to secure the belt to get a more formal and polished look.
Hi Gloria, definitely you can wear a different belt over a trench coat. I've never tried, but I've seen Burberry model wearing a black leather obi belt around the trench. It looks pretty classic and chic.

Yes, it does have a buckle, but I am thinking of using a different belt altogether. I like your tying techniques, though.
