Being friends with OD (or Divide as mentioned in the mod) has been memorable these past few years. They're a funny, supportive and incredibly talented human being and their memory will live on in this mod. It means a lot that there's a memorial for 'em in this, especially considering their passing recently. It's been hard for all of us. Thank you for playing this mod, Ryan. For context for those who are curious about Divide.
I don’t know much but as far as we know they were the main artist of the original sonic in Too slow, during update 2’s development they went silent for quite a while, until the team was told by a close friend of there’s ‘presumably on the team as well’ that their parents confirmed that divide passed away.
So to honor him in the credits at the beginning his name is highlighted in gold and his code is in a darker color.
It’s incredibly touching and I’m sorry for their loss, Rest In piece divide for creating a wonderful mod.
To add to that, they were not just in the fnf community. They, as far as I'm aware, created content for many other communities, and they are most famously known as an UnderTale musician.
May Divide rest in peace, they won't be forgotten, and they'll most definitely be missed.

A few quick notes with some of the songs for anyone curious:
1. The invisible notes drain health temporarily and do stack
2. Each ring you collect forgives 1 miss so you don't lose health
3. In the song Act 1 you don't heal from hitting notes, so if you lose health it's gone for good.

Also, in Black Sun, there's a mechanic where you can't recover health, nor lose normally ... instead it's drained. Hitting a note slightly decreases its speed while missing one DRASTICALLY accelerates it. Survival at its finest !

You missed two songs so if you consider playing this mod again here's how you get the songs.
Sunky: As soon as you start up the mod hit the following keys on the main menu where the logo is: Up, Down, Left, Right, and then ENTER key. After you do this you'll get sent to the secret bonus song for Round 2
Sanic: go to the sound test and put 00, 00 and that's it enjoy lol

This mod has a lot of impact! It's a great thing Sonic EXE Version 3.0/4.0 is out. New and scarier thrills.
returning back to this, but love how you saw the invisible notes and went 'i'm not hitting those'.
*"Triple Trouble"* is just the Sonic.exe creepypasta sprites of the characters Sonic.exe killed (Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman). It's also the name of a Sonic Game.
*"Cycles"* is basically a remastered version of Execution. This version of Sonic.exe is know as "Lord X" from the Sonic.exe PC Port.
*"Endless"* (as hopefully everyone has already seen) is a reference to "Majin Sonic" a name given to the disturbing Sonic CD easter egg of "Fun is Infinite With Sega Enterprises. Signed Majin." (Which means devil) with the creepy US version boss theme playing in the background. The JP version is more used as a joke because of the that version's boss theme. Later on the name "Majin" was discovered to be on the names of the devs who worked on Sonic CD.
*"Sunshine"* is a reference to the "Tails Doll" creepypasta from Sonic R along with song "Can You Feel the Sunshine" which you heard during the "dark part".
*"Chaos"* is a reference to Fleetway Super Sonic from the UK comics (Also called the Fleetway comics) where Sonic's super form literally turns him into a demon with the power of the "Chaos Emeralds" corrupting his brain.
*"Faker"* is a reference to another version of Sonic.exe by Revie named "EXE". I think this one LOOKS like Sonic, but transforms in a whole new horrific way by the end (Just like you see later on in "Black Sun").
The ones that Ryan missed:
*"Milk"* is a reference to Sunky.mpeg, a parody of Sonic.exe
*"Too Fest"* is a reference to a parody of Sonic.exe named "Sanic", but here he's designed to parody Sonic.exe as "Sanic.exe". He's VERY meme-y, that's why he holds weed and MLG guns. An "earrape" version of Green Hill Zone edited to sound "creepy" (By making it stutter all weird) is playing in the background.

The rings in the song ‘triple trouble’ actually nullify the fact that you lose health if you miss, meaning that you still be at the same amount of health even if you miss
I thought it'd be cool if your rings show how many misses you have before you die. So if you run out rings and then miss, you die instantly
i thought you needed at least 1 ring to pass on to the next spirit, i guess its just based on accuracy or something? first time i did it i did the entirety of the song with tails and tails only lol

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve rewatched this, but I never get tired of it.
In the song cycles the reason the hands in the back are holding a sign that says "We are not Knuckles" is because in the first version most people assumed that the hands in the back were Knuckles
Edit: The reason the song "Sunset" aka Tails Doll (FIRE) looks the way it does is because it is a reference to Sonic R because that is the game that tails doll originated from.
Also the character Ryan calls Super Sonic is actually someone called Fleetway Sonic. Fleetway Sonic is the original Super Sonic until Sonic absorbed him to stop him from destroying the world.
In addition the song Act 1 is a reference to the vhs sonic.exe tapes made by ShutupJoshua (I hope I spelled that right)
That Super Sonic your talking about Fleetway Sonic came from the British Comic called Sonic the Comic and Fleetway can do a Superman's heat ray things that you press space to doge it
Actually, the correct unofficial term is Fleetway Super Sonic, to distinguish it from the other versions of Super Sonic, and to contrast it with the actual Fleetway Sonic, who the comic makers (Fleetway Comics, hence the names) decided should be a jerk to his friends. Why they decided both that and that his Super form (officially just called Super Sonic) should be a murderous psychopath, I don't know the inner workings of comic companies based in the UK.
Here's an explanation on how the mechanics work:
In you can't run and triple trouble, when you press a ghost note, it slowly drains your bar for a little while, the more you press the quicker it drains.
In black sun, you cant regain health, and your bar slowly drains.

This mod has got to be one of my favorites by far. So much effort, no cringy dialogue, good music, cool art, awesome mechanics, a lot of music. 10/10
i don't know who's responsible for variations of the Sonic.exe lore but they somehow managed to add in so much stupid dialogue and cringe moments. Sonic.exe exclaiming "i am god" works, but he doesn't need to talk to his victims to "play with them" especially since we're talking about a "demon" that has potentially existed for millennia.

This is honestly one of the most impressive mods I've seen for FNF, the amount of callbacks to the original creepypasta plus the additions they made are awesome. Can't wait to see what these guys come up with next, whether it's another update to this or something new!

Love this mod so so much! So many references, with song names, characters, and sound effects (as well as slight visuals such as the blood splash for getting a sick). The addition of Fleetway, endless getting a remix and graphics overhaul(and cycles, etc), and triple trouble incorporating many features. Absolutely one of the best mods out there, hands DOWN! While it isn't the most challenging mod ever, the number of references and fan service this mod gives just makes me really happy. Outstanding mod.
(Also all the music mostly slaps)
Edit: Totally forgot about the retro section in the second song, amazing.
Edit 2: Although the section in Triple Trouble against Knuckles is sick, when you switch sides, my eyes aren't used to looking that side so i usually get quite a few misses lol
Edit 3: When I first found out about the CD easter egg in endless by inputting 12 25, in the original mod, i freaked out - cus i was so excited to see such a great reference.
Edit 4: I know there's a lot of edits but...the more i watch and play the fleetway super sonic level the more i love it. It's so cool to see such a dark and niche character (idk if he's niche(and probably one of the best)) to be represented in such a great mod.

Hey Ryan, here’s a quick tip. Try and edit your keybinds to help your fingers (i.e DFJK) because since it separates your fingers, you have easier chance of easy full combos! And when songs use 5-9 keys, it’s easier to hit the spacebar.

i have been playing fnf for 10 months, one handed and with arrow keys, only to learn that THAT is the right way to play, while i did fc week 1 and 3 with 1 hand and arrow keys, im really shocked that i have been playing the wrong way this whole entire time

Those "triplet thingies" are dotted rhythms. In sheet music if you dot a note, it adds half of its value to it. So it's a dotted, dotted, then normal. The third note is shorter.
Three notes together are only a triplet if all three are the exact same length.

It's a 10/10. Triple trouble, if it was its own little thing, would still be a 9/10. Pair that with something like YCR where it completely switches art style mid-song and the mod gets so much better. Since it's also keeping the old Endless song as well, it's practically perfect, and the new unlockable songs are also massive bangers. Also, I think the rings save you from getting hurt from missing arrows.
I am open to criticism and/or disagreement of my reviews.
1-4 bad, 4.1-5.5 decent, 5.6-9.9 good, 10 perfect.

Yo the fact that they decided to feature Fleetway (Super Sonic) from the Sonic the Comic series is amazing! I love the fact that the mod creators had Sonic fall into chaos pit, causing him to go under extreme stress which brings out Fleetway to manifest in Sonic's body. The community loves small bits like that ties back is awesome. Kudos for the creatures you are amazing!

I just love how fleetway Sonic absolutely vaporizes the player only once in the fight just to keep them on their toes
The dev could only add the laser once because according to the dev, adding it again would crash the game
@@CrispifiedToast but it was a very good choice to keep it in, even if the other times didnt work. it makes fleetways song more unnerving, you wouldnt know if he shot you with his laser eyes

Love this mod so so much! So many references, with song names, characters and sound effects (as well as slight visuals such as the blood splash for getting a sick). The addition of fleetway, endless getting a remix and graphics overhaul(and cycles etc) and triple trouble incorporating many features. Absolutely one of the best mods out there, hands DOWN! While it isn't the most challenging mods ever, the amount of references and fan-service this mod gives just makes me really happy. Outstanding mod.
(Also all the music mostly slaps)
Edit: Totally forgot about the retro section in the second song, amazing.
Edit 2: Although the section in Triple Trouble against Knuckles is sick, when you switch sides, my eyes aren't used to looking that side so i usually get quite a few misses lol
Edit 3: When I first found out about the CD easter egg in endless by inputting 12 25, in the original mod, i freaked out - cus i was so excited to see such a great reference.
Edit 4: I know there's a lot of edits but...the more i watch and play the fleetway super sonic level the more i love it. It's so cool to see such a dark and niche character (idk if he's niche(and probably one of the best)) to be represented in such a great mod.

Ryan, when you see Sonic at his super form but his eyes are circled red, that is his Fleetway form, he transforms into that form when he’s stressed with chaos
Fun fact, the super sonic is called Fleetway sonic, a canon version of sonic from the older comics, and Fleetway is basically mentally insane super sonic, and he only becomes Fleetway after being highly stressed and near chaos energy

Technically they're only called Super Sonic, its only called Fleetway Sonic to distinguish between other forms than the one in the Fleetway (thus the name) comics. It was a pleasant surprise to see him appear in this mod.
While I still consider Tricky to be the more difficult of the two, this mod, without question, sits right up next to it in terms of pure quality. You can FEEL the effort and passion poured into this.
Though I will never get around to playing this mod myself (because I suck at even just the base game), I have to applaud these devs for their incredible work and commitment even when faced with the death of a friend and fellow team member. RIP Divide, you will be missed more than you could ever have known.

Not only is tricky easier I’d say this mod also far surpasses tricky in terms of quality. Tricky is still a great mod and a classic but sonic.exe has got it beat big time.

It was honestly hilarious that Ryan didn't notice that Knuckles was the one doing the beats first and Ryan was playing the keys 😅
Most of these songs could be banger mods by themselves. Its Absolutely CRAZY how much work has been put into this mod
In case you didn't realize it, here's a few tips.
1. The ghost notes, when hit, make your health drain a specific amount, which stacks with each ghost note. This drain *can kill you* so it's better to miss a normal note, than accidentally hit a ghost note.
2. The rings, when collected, spare a single miss note from draining your health, and don't count towards the missed counter.
so the rings are only to spare a single kiss from draining for health and that’s it
The ghost notes are like landmines. They are hidden and if you touch them,you die

Even though I'm late fun fact. The super sonic we see is actually called "Fleetway Sonic" and is the first official super sonic in the comics. He also is a corrupt version of sonic where the chaos emeralds corruption took over sonic making him evil and dark. His story is super cool and I recommend you check it out.

I’ve rewatched this video several times now, and I cannot appreciate enough the fact he first tries triple trouble, considering how long and hard the song is it’s absolutely crazy and shows how good Ryan really is at the game
