Everyone says it will cost the vikes 60 mill to keep darnold. You all ever think that darnold may not want to go to another dumpster fire of a team and take a hometown discount and stay with the only team he's had success with.id think he would consider the future and stay in Minnesota
My unfounded prediction is that Darnold will return to the Vikings on a 3 year deal worth about $100m with a team option in the 3rd year. This gives the team the flexibility to bring JJ along slowly while not entirely committing to Darnold fully as a franchise guy. If KO thinks JJ is truly the guy, then Sam becomes a valuable trade piece for a struggling team that could use Darnold’s talent. You could even put in a clause where Darnold has some say where he goes, so coming back for a bit cheaper is more attractive to him. This is what I think the best play for both sides is… Sam has been great, but there’s no doubt that part of that has to be the situation he came into here. Either way, I’d love to see Sam stay here with the team. If he decides to bet on himself, I’d for sure support him. I’d personally think they franchise him before they let him hit free agency.
Love your content you actually know what your talking about and your not big market love it. Are there any notable running backs in free agency,or the draft that the bears could pursue,
What? Sam Donald had an off day? 30 points in four dimensions, 1) passing, 2) running, 3) passing by running 4) running by passing. W seven straight, off day?
Wherever Darnold goes he's not going to be good, unless it's that team's time to be good. That's all this is. People always pay top dollar for washout QB's who have one good season, and then stand there dumbfounded when they go right back to playing like crap with them. Darnold is getting invisible help in MN, and I say that as a Vikings "fan" for what it's worth. Once that invisible help is gone, so is his perceived talent. Same sh*t just happened to the legendary Aaron Rodgers. Darnold doesn't have a prayer.
Well those teams better upgrade their receivers and start a bidding war for Lions OC Ben Johnson because comparing those offenses to the Vikings it isn't even close.
I wanted Levis to succeed but he’s not it. Darnold has played good this year but as a Titan fan I think we should pass unless we can get him for a really good deal.
You really know nothing about the Vikings, do you? darnold was abridge QB to Mccarthy. JJM was NEVER going to start in 2024, he was going to sit and learn, period. That's why SD was hired.

Go ahead and take him, he holds the ball way too long, he's had a decent season but not worth a big contract, use the money to build a better Oline starting with the ridiculously bad center. JJ would do just fine behind a better OL.
What team will Sam Darnold play for in 2025?

If the Vikings are smart they would pay SD while McCarthy is on the rookie deal. That way you would cover your QB options.
harrison's hair system is wonderful
We still have to see Darnold in playoffs under pressure. This will say a lot.

The Vikings will keep him if they make it to the Super Bowl

I see a tag and trade

A shot in the dark I say he goes to the Colts for a 2nd and a 5th after the Vikings tag and trade
Think KOC will have the last word about this stuff

LA.
remember case keenum as soon as he left the vikings boom bust same 💩 going to happen to sd
If you keep him it's going to cost 60 million a season
Probably 50 million
When the stock price is high, SELL. As good as Darnold has been, the team could use a franchise run stopper in the middle.
