- The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says actress Holly Valance is becoming “a bit of a rockstar”.
Ms Elsworth’s remarks come after the ex-Neighbours star blasted Australia for being too woke and called her home state of Victoria a “nanny state” in an impassioned sit-down interview with GB News.
Outgoing CFMEU boss John Setka weighed in on the controversy around Ms Valance as he agreed with the actress’ remarks.
“She is speaking what many people are often too afraid to say,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“She’s calling out wokeism, she’s calling out all these gender issues among young children, Greta Thunberg.
“She is really resonating with a lot of people.”
