Excellent sermon Father, in Saint Ignatius' book, "Discerning the spirits", he tells us that the demons study us to see where our "sin proclivities are, and simply keeps nudging us in the direction that we are heading in anyway!!! As you say, no horns, no hooves necessary, we provide Satan the with all that he needs to get us if we are not conscious of our own sin tendencies and if we don't stay in contact with our good/guardian angel and harken to his warnings and guidance. The Bible references that you brought in are worth their weight in gold!...the Inerrant word of God's teachings are much stronger than human teaching. Thanks, this is especially useful today as I/we anticipate the Pope's new encyclical to be published today. May Our Blessed Lord continue to bless you in your instrumental work in His vineyard 🙏
Mental prayer is now my constant companion , it is a powerful tool against the devil and its minions who use all who do not believe in it . Imagine what the devil does with those who worship it . this question is for a SSPX priest: I know that we are to submit to secular authority per the teachings of the Gospel so please dont take this question as a challenge but a desperate plea for knowledge. At what point does secular authority give up its right to rule? at what point does a Catholic no longer need to obey?
