The wonderfully weird celebration that is MayDay in south

MayDay in south Minneapolis is a grassroots celebration that has brought the community together since 1975.
The festival historically featured towering puppets from organizer Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, but due to funding the theater stepped back from coordinating the event in 2023, letting community groups take over.
