With butterfly doors, you can fix the clearance issue if the bottom corner of the door is given an upward angle, but I can't think of anyone that has done that. It would reduce some of the ease of entry and exit, but you're already making a sacrifice in that department when you buy the type of car that comes with butterfly doors.

I'd love to have reverse scissor doors. It's a lot easier to get out of such a low car by leaning forward, which is normally impossible because the door is in the way. If it opened scissor style but backwards you could be much more graceful and it would still have the same advantages.

There’s 2 types of regular doors though: with and without window frame. The cars without the frame are usually more sporty or luxurious and look better at least imo

Gullwing doors can open in tight spaces because they are hinged towards the middle of the roof. They can open in tighter spaces than regular doors. They still have trouble in lof garages though.
The thing with the RX8 is actually far more cool than people think. When Mazda wanted to refresh the rotary, management would greenlight on the condition it had 4 doors. So the designers were like ight here you go, 4 doors.

If you've ever had friends complain about being able to get in and out of the tiny back doors of your car (particularly if it's tall or has an unususally cramped back seat like an extended cab truck) you can understand their advantages
