Such a great interview!
Matthew has a very structured thought process for approaching this scenario!
And he is very calm during the entire interview even though he is probably sitting on a staircase

Had to watch this 3 times but the take home point of this interview was really Matthew’s clarifying question of what the goal of this “experiment” for and this led to his drill down of the metrics to ultimately tie back to this goal

Personally I would have started with a structure of how to approach the answer but otherwise the diving into the metrics by user type than roll it up to DAU makes sense
