God I want to try those so bad. I did my first offwidth a few weeks ago at Enchanted Rock here in TX. Starts off an an arm bar and then goes into a skinny slick chimney that flares out towards the top. It was easily the most exhausting climb I've ever done but holy shit that rock wrestling match is sooooo addicting.
Funny running across my own post from just after my first OW. I'm now fully down with the wide fetish and just got the redpoint on that route recently. Just yesterday I got a friend on that same route and she seems to be hooked on the wide now too. Was totally Type II fun for her (that route is totally Type I now for me). Pam is my constant inspiration in my OW adventures for sure as well as a friend of mine who got a chance to learn a decent bit off Pam this summer.
