Niiiiice double bill. I'm from Boston, and new a hot girl from high school who went to a Geils concert and made out with Mr. Geils himself. Oh, and said hot girl also said Geils put on a helluva show before the alcohol took over and she locked lips with Mr. Geils. The band was almost criminally underrated, but to see Geils AND ZZ Top at the same gig must have been incredible! Talk about getting your money's worth!
I'm old enough to admit, we used to cruise in muscle cars, downtown, blasting this song and other power rock at full volume! Some of my best high school memories!
Love this song, even WITH that execrable Much/Tush "rhyme." I couldn't stand it when it came out 50 years ago (almost) and it drives me crazy to this day. Fantastic song, incredible performance.
I’m a proud Texan knowing that this band came out to Texas when everybody thought they were just some small band from Texas they showed everybody that Texas rocks they have such a unique sound and even to this day we lost the bassist Dusty Hill may he rest in peace but Billy Gibbons is still out there doing his thing with the drummer Frank beard
This song was written spontaneously during sound check before a show in beautiful Florence, Alabama at Norton Auditorium at the University of North Alabama in the mid 1970s. One of their best "lightning in a bottle" numbers according to Billy Gibbons.
That's where I was born and raised and still live. The famous FAME Recording Studios which was the hit recording of the world. The ,1970's were the best recording years I think
I remember when the live album came out in the early-mid 70's. The human condition hasn't changed so much in 50 years. I still just want some tush, and I still don't think I'm asking for too much.
Great reaction, love when you review classic rock especially ZZ Top. I recently listened to some of your music, BIG Thumbs Up!! I'm in my late 60's and still head bangin!!
You'll have to upload the home video of you grooving to this old Texas chestnut when you were little. ZZ figured out pretty early in the game that rock and roll should be fun.
In the Fleisher Superman cartoon from 1941, an ancient pharaoh is referred to as "King Tush". The Fleischer animators had a lot of fun in those days ;).
These guys are great They inspire you to either practice until you have passable timing & all the right callouses or smash your instruments and spit on the pieces
I ddin't want it to end...
RIP Dusty. And thank you for the decades of great music.
I saw them in the summer of 76 in Milwaukee at the Arena, J.Geils opened for them, excellent concert!

The most fun you can have in 2 minutes and 19 seconds. Wore this 8-track out back in high school!
I used a lot of scotch tape.then the yank method to rewind.a book o matches was sometimes your main 8 track fix.know I mean?
I actually replaced this 8-track twice from playing it to death!!🤣🤣🤘🤘🎶🎼🎵🎸🎸🎸🥁🥁🥁
welcome to the world before you were even born TEXAS BLUES
We do!!!!

Oh, and by the way I'm old enough to have seen them live more than 10 times. Blessed.

The Great Billy Gibbons guitar never let's you down. Saw them in concert in 1977 in Seattle, and it was unbelievable!

Rock in Peace, Dusty Hill
I just found you by searching Top reactions, in memory of Dusty. But I fell in love with Susie Q
The biggest little band from Texas!
Billy Gibson = Jimmi Hendrix favorite guitarist 💜
Suzi Q: Your parents have taste. The music in the background of your home video is the evidence. :)
Rest In Peace Dusty Hill . Although Billy sang Most of the time DUSTY COULD REALLY BELT IT OUT .
The bass player died today. Such a loss.

Gotta laugh!!!! I never realized that Dusty Hill sang TUSH!!!!! These guys just groove, but I admit they were a bit out of tune towards the end!

With that band it always came down to sex. And the female anatomy lol
Get serious. This is a cover. Not ZZ Top.
RIP Dusty
