You should think about vacuum, sealing your pillows. They would take up so much less room than the full pillow and they wouldn’t get dusty.

Julie Sullivan here. The basement looks great. A nice floor lamp or table lamp next to your recliner would warm and cozy up the area.
You could buy king size pillow cases and put on the changing table pad, that’s what I did when I kept my grand kids. It’s really easy and cheaper

Love the basement. I never think to cook stew meat in my air fryer until I see you do it, so I'm going to fix that one night. It looks so good. You've chosen some great music for this video....very motivating.
Put the sewing machine up higher. Baby will be into everything she can get her hands on sooner than you know it. Keep toys on the bottom sections so she can explore. Very nice makeover. Cute and comfy room. You make the most of your space.

Could you turn one of your bedrooms into a room for baby things? You'll need a crib at some point. And I'm sure you aren't going to want to carry her downstairs into the basement every time she needs changed. Where will she nap when she's with you? Your craft room looks nice.

Craft room looks great ! Don’t buy new boxes just use new contact paper to cover them with . ( just a suggestion ) . That changing table is awesome .

I have craft building my house next door has crafts things in it. I don't have time to do crafts. My husband is having problems & I have to take him to the Dr plus my son that lives with us I have to take him to work & go get him too. By the time I take care of my husband I don't have time to do crafts & I have lost interest in it. So I'm going to take all of them to Goodwill.

I have taken care of my 3 grandsons since they were babies. They are now ages 5, 6 and 12. So much fun along the way and so rewarding. Such a special bond with your grandchildren. love those trays the tiered tray and the cake trays...gosh you can use the tiered tray for Pasley's needs, it would look cute, wipes, etc. on the tray would serve as a holder for baby needs and it will be vertical storage...

I know what you mean about your basement. We have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. We also have a tv room and I have a craft room. My husband has a small reloading area in the furnace room. But my craft room is at the bottom of the stairs and it’s become a catch-all for all kinds of stuff. The last time I went down there a huge metal shelf unit was in it. When I asked my husband why it was there he said it was broken. Ugh!

oil tank cost a bagillion dollars to remove and I agree as long as it's not leaking any of the sludge that is usually left in the bottom of one, there is no need. just an eyesore you can hide if needed which i'm sure you have when when your kiddos were down there.Or you could always paint it some fun and funky color and maybe if it hold magnets you could do some word art or somethign on it. Or Paint it with chalkboard paint and use it like a chalk board.

I don't put lid on cat litter either. Its right by my bathroom when I go and there is something in it. I scoop it.

Your craft room looks great! Mine is third on our list of makeovers. The first two projects are fairly small. The craft room is going to be a bigger project. The 32 year old carpet needs to be removed and replaced with peel and stick flooring and two large furniture pieces need to be taken out and repurposed elsewhere. Your makeover has me ready to get to mine.😊
