I am a web developer trying to get into Shopify Liquid and I am frighteningly discouraged to see how pooly done these videos are, how little resource there is for new developers and how difficult it is to follow along from scratch. I really, really hope that Shopfy takes the initiave to expand their resources and mentors.
Hey, I'm facing the same problem you specified here. Since, you're ahead of me can you guide me through some of the resources for beginners to get started?
This would really help me. Thanks in advance!
this is so true! what resources are good for beginners?

Are there any text editors like brackets or Atom or anything else that have syntax checking?
Atom and Sublime both have support for syntax highlighting.
You can use your own text editor if you setup 'themeKit' shopify.github.io/themekit/
can you tell about the footer content?
