i carry 8-10 relays for those and group change them when they look bad.i also find the turning vanes on the blower wheels get clogged up and need to be cleaned so you get full airflow and not late or no ignition. nice work
I had this same problem before and swapped the relays and solved it as well. How I checked the fan on mines as well I just hooked it up to a 110v outlet and she started to spin 😂. Could’ve also just jacked it into the other side with the fan working
Curious, why you didn't check the voltage going to the fan motor before removing the fan? Is there a preventive maintenance on those fryers? To catch all the grease getting sucked in and accumulating on the fan intake?
Statistical history… correct thing would have been testing voltage first you are absolutely correct. I find them failed or operable. Never partially, so when it was kicking but not starting I got ahead of myself. There obviously isn’t any preventative happening on THIS fryer but I’ve ordered all three relays and we’ll remove and clean all three fans as well. That’s a system ripe for causing cracked burners which will be a 1300 repair
You are good about proving what the problem really is.👍
Surprises, surprises! Blessings
👍👍👍

Good catch. At least those relays are in sockets, that could easily be a board replacement.

Nice find on the relay
Fasco makes decent motors - there's a Fasco in my furnace being the inducer fan.

Please at least wipe off those fan blades. It's killing me seeing them like that
Eww a fry master 💩
Facts…
@ Henny Penny all day long 🫡..The worst is changing the heating elements on frymasters
