I honestly prefer these longer drawn out cases of looking at cheaters. I like seeing the process behind finding out how they're cheating as well as seeing the viewpoint of other people and why they're talking to the cheater. Good stuff

This is very cathartic and informative, even though I havent played in years. When my friends and I played, we didn't know for sure how to recognize the less blatent cheaters and didnt want to false report anyone, so we just got more and more frustrated until everyone finally moved on. None of us had enough free time to waste making up for the damage and loss caused by cheaters. If I had the knowledge of the game that I do after watching videos like this, I would definitely have been comfortable making reports.
It's almost impossible to detect closet cheaters without spectating them for a while

I think it was really cool that you got to be the sort of fly on the wall for that fourth cheater. I think it would be pretty funny to be in that scenario as admin where you can just play stupid with other people and withold how long you have been spectating or other information and see if what they say matches up. Its also like a cool mystery trying to figure out the relation between each person and how they know the cheater. Great video as always Camomo!

54:13 i didn't even notice dude on top of the base who witnessed a cheater being toured by a train unit he laughed right afterwards that had me laughing. Had to play that back a few times lol.

Seriously, they're right. I have never played Rust, but I've seen some of the gloating done by blatant cheaters, who ruin the game for the people who build up their characters by following the rules, putting in the time, and taking their lumps in the process.
Please, keep on these cheaters. Pound on them during the game and verbally roast them when you put them on the ice. Humiliations galore!
I enjoyed the entire hour. I liked how he sorted out Dingle Berry, Greg and their teammate after they'd F7 reported the cheater. It made sense that they were just patronizing him. 👍
I got another plugin idea for you. Have your guy program a plugin that spawns an animal everywhere the cheater spawns and have it attack him only. Then after it kills him, it runs off and disappears.
Could try this idea. Ill send it to him now!
Or instead of BLUE SCREEN, do non stop flash bangs

So glad I found your videos just when I was thinking about playing rust because otherwise I would probably have bought it. If you have this much content I can only imagine how many people slip through the cracks.
If you find good servers that have active admins then you'll be fine. I've got 3k hours and cheaters were never enough to discourage me.
The people who whine about cheaters generally don't even report them. Whenever I ran into them I'd always message the server owner or an admin who was online on discord. They'd generally be banned within a few minutes.
Don't play official servers though. Cheaters go undetected forever there.

I can imagine it's partly fun, frustrating, and satisfying to fuck with and ban cheaters. Fun because you can piss them off and ruin their stuff, frustrating because it's stupid people feel the need to cheat vs learn a game and get better, and satisfying when you help keep a server you like clean of the trash. Good on you for being observant and ready to rock and roll the cheaters

That is definitely the best way I've ever seen to introduce a song, completely unexpected at the end of a 1 hour.vid. caught me off guard. I'm not a fan of mainstream rap either, not great, but decent and fitting corrus. Maybe you can get Dan Bull to do number 3!

I have rewinded that old man style startled yell that the guy does on the roof when the 8th cheater is given The Train. I genuinly cant stop laughing and that and the interaction before. Watched it about 5 times now and ive laughed it all out and can finally finish the video.

Watching your videos sincerely gives me hope for this game. However we are a long way from being able to enjoy non-hack infested servers. Even a couple of days ago on Warbandits quad, there was a specific player that was levitating on/off for the better part of half a day. Once we did manage to get his name and alert the mods, he had already logged off and evaded the investigation. I am sure he has already been dealt with by now, however my experience was certainly ruined that day.

Camomo my friend and i played duo on hollow servers and it took 5 hours for two clowns to get banned and two tickets. i was absolutely fuming. an entire list of admins and no one was answering my tickets or anything. thank you for what you do 🤗

Plot twist: the cheat developers send camomo a list of steam IDs that download the cheats. Just to keep the need for more accounts buying cheats.

An idea that I think would be both funny and useful - a delayed ban, where it lets the cheater play until they trigger a certain condition. Could be opening a stash, killing a player, getting their first gun, placing a TC. Then they get banned. This way they would waste time grinding prim, just to get banned before they can do any real damage. You could set the condition based on how much damage you think they’ll do with their cheats.
Alternatively you could just let them play but make it so they can't hurt other players or damage structures lmao.
