This guy is a genius... Question he asked to engage not just the speaker but the audience too is extraordinary...
Very happy to see Saurabh Sir's argument and logic about migrants' responsibility of learning the local language. When the guy said the city is cosmopolitan and they don't find it necessary to learn kannada as even local don't burden them. So, we are also responsible and most of urban Kannadigas in good position are not bothered about forcing their north Indian friends to learn kannada.
When the guys said he finds it tough as it's like tongue twister to learn Kannada. @saurabh sir said didn't you find it hard initially when studying aerospace engineering? That's funnily good argument but it's not also. Our north Indian friends don't get proper resources and also as locals too cooperate with Hindi they don't find it necessary to learn it.
But as the wind is changing, I suggest all of them to start learning little bit and get well in about 2-3 years. Because opposing Hindi has been becoming a thing now.

I am from karnataka, not only dk shivakumar even H,d kumaraswami does have lot of money. i heard they own a lot of land and properties around bangalore and mysore. the land which have highest rates in karnataka.

I have lived in both Bangalore and Chennai the difference is in Bangalore you don't feel intimidated but in Chennai sometimes I felt intimidated not being a Tamil or not knowing Tamil.
Learning Tamil is not necessary in Chennai, but it is recommended because then only you will get the real feel of Tamil culture. Not learning Hindi would make you survive in Delhi, but you'll never mix with the local people who predominantly speak Hindi there and never actually get the glimpse of living there. Its the same here in Chennai.
Don't insist on Hindi web you are in Bengaluru..

Fir maine socha number plate HSRP karwa lun to pata chala KA state ne as such mandatory nahi kiya hai hence, online bhi nahi order kar skta. Ab gaadi GZbd mein hai HSRP number plate nahi hai toh Gzbd traffic police ko kaise bola jaye, wo jhatt se challan kar de rahe hain, SP office phone kiya toh SP saab bole 2 baar challan ho gya toh 3sri baar mein gaadi seize ho jaegi. BH number solution hai, HSRP possible hai but uske liye Karnataka mein respective RTO jana padega. Ye alag alag state apne rules nikalte hain toh dusre state se aayi gaadi problem mein aa jati hai. I'm impressed by the amount of research these guys have done. Especially Saurabh sir.
We don't care much about lingayata and Vokkaliga issue as it's already over. Some might take that into consideration but most not.
And the way these guys found out Karnataka has very friendly politicians regardless of parties and are accessible is very interesting.
Media like Lallantop are responsible for educating north Indians about Karnataka or southern India. We are very welcoming and they find it easy here. I'd also like to see the India today and lallantop to cover all major elections of all of southern Indian states. They'll be surpsided by ideologies of people of Kerala and their education level. They'll be amazed to see Tamil sentiments and they'll be amused by craze of politics in Telugu states especially AP.
