Totally understandable, but I’ve just never liked him, mainly because of his design. Cinderace would’ve taken his place on this list if it wasn’t for how good in competitive Cinderace is, and the fact I’ve used one before and was surprised with how heavy of a hitter he was.

Also, highly agreed at #4, but for me it's the fact Greedent in Arven's team always knocked down one of my Pokémon before i could finally defeat it. (yes i only played Pokémon Scarlet) And for #2, Medicham is so useless in battle (for me AND the opponent) that it makes me angry, I highly agree with it being on the list too.
Hiya, thanks for your comment! Yeah Greedent is just a flaming hot pile of garbage in general, and it sucked seeing Arven use one because I really like Arven. Medicham isn’t good competitively either, but since I’ve rarely dabbled in competitive and never thought to use Medicham, my main gripe with it is its appearance and constantly running into them in ultra wormholes.
I do? I didn’t want to trauma dump in the video, but since you’re asking, I’ve had legitimate traumatic experiences with squirrels, and as for rabbits, I actually can’t explain that one. I just haven’t liked them since I was a kid.

1. Yes it did! Honestly I don’t really have any other gripes towards Hawlucha, but I had to put a 10 and 9 on this list. It was Hawlucha or Lopunny, and since I haven’t had any bad experiences with Lopunny as a kid (or in present time), I decided on Hawlucha. 2. I was 11, and my team was massively underleveled for that point in the game save for my Frogadier. Looking back now, being 21, I was a dumb kid and I’ll proudly admit that. 3. I don’t know who that is and not sure if I want to know since my partner who used to be super into anime said SAO is one of the worst anime out there… ._.

I don't hate many pokémon but~ 1. Mewtwo and Charizard, I hate these two because they get way too much preferential treatment, they got two mega evolutions, with Mega Charizard X being the most blatant gen 1 pandering EVER seeing how it doesn't even fit in with the other Kanto starter megas with it having a different colour scheme and typing, then in Sword & Shield Leon has Charizard as his ace despite the fact that Charizard isn't even a Galar pokémon and how Bulbasaur and Squirtle weren't in the game at launch, it's just extremely frustrating (I put these two together because I hate them for the exact same reasons). 2. Inteleon, speaking of gen 8, Inteleon is easily one of the least appealing and most disappointing starters in the entire series, this yaoi hands, human in a lizard disguise, James Bond parody is frankly terrible, like imagine an Inteleon in the wild... You can't can you? Because it's way too human, Cinderace has this problem too but Scorbunny was like that also so it's not as disappointing and Rillaboom is a gorilla which gets a pass because gorillas are pretty human-like in real life. Plus there's the massive missed potential of a spy/secret agent chameleon pokémon, like think about it, the prehensile tail, the colour changing camouflage (that we see Sobble do but apparently it just loses that when it evolves), the fact that chameleons have extremely good eyesight which could be turned into like built in night vision goggles and the most notable chameleon element their spring-loaded tongue that they use to capture prey, there was soo much cool potential and what did we get? James Pond Mc Yaoihands. 3. Decidueye, unlike the others I don't have an impassioned speech about Decidueye being awful, I just think it looks dumb, it's wings look like curtains, I don't like it's feather fingers and it's hisuian form doesn't really change my opinion either. 4. Coalossal, more missed potential from gen 8, I dislike Coalossal because it takes the wheel theming of Rolycoly and Carkol and completely throws it out the window, like Coalossal could've and should've been themed around a train but nope we get a generic bipedal rock monster. 5. Turtonator, this one I dislike because it's just really ugly, Alola had a big problem with non-evolving pokémon and Turtonator is easily the worst, even its counterpart in Drampa has more going for it with a nicer design and more interesting details like its pokédex descriptions meanwhile Turtonator is just an ugly turtle that explodes (also for some reason it only has 1 ability despite the fact that it's just Shell Armor and Drampa has the usual two normal abilities and a hidden ability). 6. Eiscue, I actually like stonjourner even though it is stupid because the mental image of a huge 8 foot tall, over 1000 pound, Stonehenge creature just punting some poor other pokémon into the horizon is just so very funny to me, Eiscue however is just stupid, which was likely the point but unlike Stonjourner which feels stupid in a fun way Eiscue feels stupid in a lame way, like the way it looks is probably supposed to be cute but to me it just comes off as kinda ugly, the cube shape of it's ice head, the way its actual head looks, the single weird hair on top, just uhg no thanks.

I’m not a huge fan of any of them either actually (except Volcanion), but I didn’t dislike them enough to put them on the list. Squawkabilly is just a wasted Pokédex slot, Cinderace would have made the list if not for his usefulness in competitive, Brambleghast is mid, Raging Bolt is hideous and my least favorite legendary (idk if he counts as he’s a paradox form but if he doesn’t, Heatran is my least favorite legend), Unovan Darmanitan is the superior Darmanitan form, Enamorous has no reason to exist, Wormadam is useless and always pissed me off in Pokemon Battle Revolution, Rellor is also mid, and Mawile is kinda just, there. I have NO IDEA why Mawile of all Pokemon got a mega evolution.
I completely respect your opinion : ) I just don’t like Chesnaught and haven’t since it was revealed. I don’t like Cinderace much either (because I don’t like bunnies), but I’ve used one competitively before and that made me think twice about putting Cinderace on this list too.

To preface: I'm not mad. You're allowed to have your own opinions and when opinions differ it makes communities better. I agree with most of this list. I certainly get 1-5 save for Zangoose. I get disliking it because its yandev's favorite but it probably doesn't have to do with the nature of the pokemon. I think people like it because the sharp contrast of white accented with red tickles a part of the lizard brain. On top of that the overall design actually looks like something out of the 90s so anyone who was a kid in the 90s or early 00s probably finds it more appealing than an audience that didn't grow up with those designs. Again, this is just my theory and observation. You're not wrong for disliking it. And as for Chestnaught, I totally get it. I actually really disliked Chesnaught too when I first saw it and I'm very much a "screw you, I'm picking the grass starter because bulba buddy was my first pokemon" kind of person. It wasn't until I saw its animations and really studied its design did it grow on me. It's a chipmunk knight using a chestnut shell as armor. If you're willing grab one in SV and use it a bit. It might grow on you. (and yes Quiladin, is an awful mid stage and should have been better. I don't think anyone will disagree with you there lol)

Yeah, if it wasn’t for the fact that it was my ex’s favorite pokemon, I would have never even thought about putting it on a list like this, but if you listened to the stories about this specific ex (episode 5 part 1 and 2), you’d know why I see the pokemon in a different light now and can’t unsee it ): it sucks cause it’s design isn’t bad at all! However even if my ex’s favorite was a pokemon I love, like Greninja, I guarantee it would’ve changed my opinion on it entirely. Yeah I’ve been getting major flack for the Chesnaught entry, but I’ve just never liked its design and I think it’s ugly. Its shiny is cool, but I’ve never thought to use it because I just don’t like its design. If you hadn’t read my previous comments, I do mention that Cinderace would’ve made the list instead of Chesnaught (as I don’t like bunnies and have no personal vendetta against real chipmunks), but I’ve used a Cinderace in competitive and boy does he hit HARD. So his competitive viability saved him from being here, leaving Chesnaught the only other starter I dislike. Maybe I will use one. But the back plate has some give to it so it animates beautifully rather than stiffly. So it feels excusable in that regard. But yeah, Cinderace? I don't care how hard it hits. Why are there *pants* on my *pokemon*? It's so dumb that a fur pattern so closely resembles clothing. If it was more vague I'd excuse it. Like Mr. Rime or Prinplup. That's fine. It alludes to clothing but still feels like part of the pokemon. BUT WHY PANTS? lol And Chesnaught was very competitively viable in specific stall teams a few generations ago. It's still usable. Especially because no one expects it. Certainly it wont win any top level tournaments but just trolling on the VGC ladder? Perfect. Though my favorite gen 9 troll is scarf typhlo with lava plume and dachsbun with body press next to it... with rest and sleep talk. Because its the funniest way to shut down sleep strats. Ideally the typhlo is tera grass to avoid sleep itself if needed. Armorouge can be used instead if you prefer too. I'm not apologizing.
Well to be fair, I did like Zangoose before I found out he’s my ex’s favorite pokemon. If it wasn’t for that guy, Zangoose would’ve never touched the list. Volbeat however would’ve been number 1 regardless XD but, I’m glad someone is a fan of Volbeat at least!

It’s only cause I played Pokemon ranger a lot as a kid and since that’s your partner Pokemon (I had Minun since I’m a dude), I just got used to having it around. I love Pikachu, but all the other rejects who want to be just like him, not so much. Emolga is my least favorite of the bunch and other than that Morpeko is ok-ish.

And Chesnaught was very competitively viable in specific stall teams a few generations ago. It's still usable. Especially because no one expects it. Certainly it wont win any top level tournaments but just trolling on the VGC ladder? Perfect.
Though my favorite gen 9 troll is scarf typhlo with lava plume and dachsbun with body press next to it... with rest and sleep talk. Because its the funniest way to shut down sleep strats. Ideally the typhlo is tera grass to avoid sleep itself if needed. Armorouge can be used instead if you prefer too.

Well to be fair, I did like Zangoose before I found out he’s my ex’s favorite pokemon. If it wasn’t for that guy, Zangoose would’ve never touched the list. Volbeat however would’ve been number 1 regardless XD but, I’m glad someone is a fan of Volbeat at least!

It’s only cause I played Pokemon ranger a lot as a kid and since that’s your partner Pokemon (I had Minun since I’m a dude), I just got used to having it around. I love Pikachu, but all the other rejects who want to be just like him, not so much. Emolga is my least favorite of the bunch and other than that Morpeko is ok-ish.
