Those long needles are basically useless... Too awkward to maneuver with precision, ATROCIOUS to use in tight spots or in tight turns, too flimsy/springy for picking up beads so you'll just end up flinging too many, and they get bent all to hell far too easily. The ONLY benefit they have is picking up more beads simultaneously, it's not worth it.

take a ruler and see how long a 55mm needle is, because if it's shorter you can't work with seed beads with it
