- This month David had the opportunity to test out the Tamron 35-150 lens (Sony mount). It’s a beast of a lens at f/2-2.8 and extremely versatile. The zoom is super smooth and will give you a GREAT punch in/ push out. And he was so impressed with the autofocus speed he said he’s going to sell so stuff so he can buy this.

I read in the specs that the pre-requisite before you can even purchase is lens this is proof of 6 months of gym membership, and certificate that you've been in the gym at least 3 days a week, and 3 sets of 10 of 35 pound dumb bell curls from your gym coach.
Depends what you shoot. Sports photographers may find it compact and bijou...
is that a picture of Kramer in the background? lol
Do you know if Tamron plans to release a Canon version too?
Probably not until canon removes all their restrictions for 3rd party lenses
Great lens. I've been using for a few weeks. However I would love to know some of the features such as custom/1 1-3 and the circular button on the top of the lens.
won't sell well. better to get smakker-range toom, preferably by Ziess, and crop, than this big, heavy expensive thing- unless roper test reviews indicates otherwise. this rMRON Pid-for blog, is their best marketing effort, other makers have nothing to fear.
🤣
What's the highest range it can be at F2?
Will there be a version 2 on the way. That it’s lighter ?
Considering this just came out about 2 years ago, likely not a V2 for some time. It's heavy for sure but for what it does, the weight is actually not too bad considered.
Giimbal question: when you zoom that big heavy lens on the gimbal, does the weight shift not mess up your gimbal balance?
I have the crane 3s so it can handle the zoom a smaller gimbal might not be able to
@@MediaUnlocked Thanks for replying. I've had a quick look at that gimbal and it seems impressive! Not as expensive as I expected either. If the Tamron went out to 24mm instead of 35 I'd be in heaven, but that's being greedy. Thanks again.
It would be amazing if it when to 24mm !!!@@PandosII
So is the only time it’ll go to f2 is at 35mm?
@@joyfolden Yep
