I appreciate the demo here, but these are optimal conditions with no other light/light pollution and slight haze. I am curious about how these would do on an outside stage - not to create a laser show over the crowd, but “on stage”/in the tent, with way more additional lighting i.e. some moving head beams etc. ans light pollution from a not fully set sun, though still with the use of haze

Unlikely, I can't recommend these. I recently bought two GF-120 and have the same issue with both of them: The gobo wheel isn't centrated correctly, i.e. the patterns are always missing something, when the gobo wheel is not rotating (e.g. the star is missing a jag, the heart is missing an edge etc.)
This problem is not only annoying, but also pretty unnecessary, because when the gobo-wheel is spinning, it regulary passes positions, where the problem is non existent, so what it
would need is just an adjustment of 1-3° of the wheel's "parking position". Unlikely as far as i know, such an adjustment is neither possible by dmx nor in the device settings.
In addition to this on 1 of my 2 fixtures, there is a narrow gap in the middle of the four colored gobo (RGBA dots/"rainbow"), where white light from the led is always bypassing, while on the other fixture there are "yellowish" spots in the light beam when the gobo wheel is open (residues of hot glue?).
Besides this in my opinion, the look and brightness are top level in this price category and these devices could be great, if not only the
manufacturing quality wasn't so poor ...

first of all; we're very sorry for the inconvenience. Reading your feedback made us conduct a sampling inspection and we couldn't find the malfunction you described in our devices here. However, as we take your feedback very seriously, we assume that your devices may have been handled incautiously during transport, so that the small and delicate parts like the sensors may have been deflected by one or two degrees.
If you wish to replace your faulty devices with two new ones, please refer to your dealer and ask for a replacement - or, if you wish to get the devices repaired, please ask for repair. We'll be happy to fix your devices, so you can enjoy two perfectly fine GF-120.

This would qualify as a defect? Why haven’t you just returned them or used your warranty to get them fixed/replaced? 😅 shit happens in manufacturing, especially small maladjustments like this … no need to create a fuss, just get it replaced my guy ✌️

Your demos are pretty terrible. They don’t demonstrate a typical experience a user will have and we don’t get to see what the built in programming will be. It’s put me off of purchasing products I’m interested in since I can only speculate on how it actually functions. This is real misstep seeing as your company is one of the few putting out unique lighting products. These demos are creative and look good but they tell me nothing about the product besides its basic design.
