- This is a very personal song, as I wrote it in honor of my friend Daniel Taraschke who passed away Halloween Night. The lyrics and theme of this song is based off the last conversation we had with each other where I said "Goodbye, I'll see you in two weeks". The very next weekend Danny was gone, and I was left with a hole in my heart which I feel every day. This hole has not healed, and I imagine it will never truly heal. But I am comforted in knowing that Danny knew how much I loved him. I could think of no better way of expressing that love for him then in making this song. I hope you will all enjoy it and find your own strength when it comes time to say goodbye to someone you love.

This song reminds me of my Grandmother whom died a long time ago but her last words kept me going through my current depression: "Dream of anything you want, Anything you need, or anything that makes your heart ache. Maybe if you dream hard enough, the thing you so desire to your heart will come and stay with you for eternity."

I know it's been at least half a year and I don't want to make you open this wound again, but I just wanted to say that this is..... so beautiful. Tears are streaming down my face as I write---I'm reminded of my grandmother, to whom I said goodbye so casually and never saw again. Daniel was surely very dear to your heart, and I hope you meet again.

I remember I told myself not too long ago I would never cry at a Vocaloid or UTAU song because they don't have real emotions behind their voices. But when I started listening to this song I felt something. Then I read the description and the tears came. This song made me realize emotions of others can be put into anything even if it seems heartless at first. I'm so sorry for your loss. Praying for healing and happy times for you!

I absolutely love this song still! I'm someone who is choir, I'm gonna try to convince my choir teacher for us to sing this at our end of the year concert for only us 8th graders or even sing it at the end of our Senior Year sometime before graduation. I constantly listen to this song and reflect on what happens in my past, the present and what could be within my future, I love every bit of it!! 💞💓😭
As I read through the memories that Mr. Taraschke's friends had of him, it was clear to me how much he meant to them. No one had nigh a fault to find with him; he loved life very dearly and only wished for others to do the same. I may never truly know how much of a loss this has been to you and to those people.

Its so sad, seeing a picture of someone who was alive once and isn't anymore. Especially if they're in a goofy pose or if they have this giant ear-to-ear smile. You look at that picture and think, "How could someone like this have died?" but they are, and those are always the most precious people, the people that leave you with a giant black hole in your heart that makes everything seem as if its being pummeled around. And just like a black hole, everything builds up and if you don't stop it, it explodes. Then it cycles over again...
I know this is like 1 year and a couple months later, but this song is so sweet and cool. When I first heard it I cried. Dex' voice is perfect for it. I am sorry for your loss...
The fact you can still work and put effort if your stuff even after what happened is an inspiration. I know people like me can't really help much with things like that, but we know you can make it through it. May Danny rest in peace.

You voice this so well. The lyrics are so clear on the message and en though it is a very sad one, I think that he knows you made this for him and that he is watching over you. I'm not personally christian, but I do believe that he is still with you. I hope that you all (family and friends of his) have found peace in knowing that he is safe from harm. I understand how hard it is to lose someone close to you, but I won't even try to comprehend how painful it is when you know that try won't be at school the next day. I know t this song helped put Daniel at peace if he hadn't already been. Thank you for making such a wonderful song that I'm sure has helped many people.

my life is going downhill atm, and i dont know how long i could last. id gladly use this song for a final farewell for my friends to hear.
i still love my life, i do, but i wish this wasn't that bad. im very jealous of my other friends who are at their calm and joyous state, and yet here i am - suffering. i really want to tell how much i love the people close to me, but i dont want to burden them so much in telling so.
