All i can say is, take care of your mental health.. I've come to realise i do better when im okay. Once i find myself depressed, i realise after the week has ended that i havent been getting out of bed and I've done nothing. Anything that takes away from you, get rid of it as soon as you can. Take care of your mental health ❤

The advice in this video is aimed toward people who are very early in their small business journey. You should not be working with a 3PL until you've gotten something off the ground and are starting to scale up operations. Don't take advantage of your audience for ad money.

Hi Monica I admire you so much and your products that you make. Actually I had interest in your channel because I wanted to make candles, scrunchies, I wanted to start my own clothing line make stickers and you are doing it all. I also tried to sell easter baskets 2 yrs ago at a flee market and I guess I didn’t plan it well. No one showed up and I had to pay to use the spot and I ended up giving the baskets away to kids in the neighborhood. Anyway I wanted to know how you got started with candles because you actually are confident in making your candles and you do it with ease. I actually paid for a class doing candy bouquets and made a couple of them but I need to tweek it because of the size of the bouquets the packaging and shipping would be too expensive and I need to take product photos to put on a website. It’s so overwhelming because I can’t afford it right now. I feel like candles would be more affordable for me right now but I don’t know how to start. I bought a kit from Amazon and it was a disaster but I still want to do candles because I think they would be cheaper to ship and package I just need to learn how to mix fragrances I guess. What would your suggestion be to get started with candles?

I'm so late to this video 😔 but one question I have as an aspiring sma- MICRO business (lol), did you need to get a permit or license to do markets and/or pop-up shops?

in most cases you don't need a permit or license unless if you're a food vendor!

how to find online/local community or support group? when i google it, it just shows small business bureau and it's filled with ppl trying to sell their services!
