Hayla is definitely one of their artists to keep close eye on. And there are so many amazing muses out there in the #EDM, house, ambient/ethereal genres. To name a few that struck my ❤ chords: Hannah Reid.(London Grammar), Leo Wood (Anjunadeep & others) and Rae Morris (whose live performed "Call My Name" on Franky Wah's set both spellbound me and blew me away in London last Summer 🌞). I fell in love with Hayla when her song Escape came out with deadmau5. That song has special meaning to me because that was when my girlfriend and I had our first romantic encounter. Then when Where You Are came out it was when I was working out of state for several weeks at a time and only home on the weekends and I remember driving on the highway as my girlfriend was taking me back to our workshop to leave out of town that evening, and the song came on, and it filled myself a tears, because neither one of us wanted to leave each other and we just wanted to be with each other wherever we were. I’ve always wondered what Hayla looked like and sounded like outside of the studio, and now I know. I love this instrumental/vocal session so much. It’s amazing to see someone like her who’s not super flamboyant yeah, a superstar vocalist. Every time I watch this video it brings me to tears and takes me back to the time when I first heard each one of the songs is my fiancé and we enjoy listening to her together because we’re listening and singing the song to each other. We stay strong in love, because we just want to be Where You Are.
