These EF lenses work great on my EOS Ra with the adapter. These EF lenses also work great with my Fujifilm cameras with the Fringer Pro 3 adapter. Very fast autofocus with both brands. ❤
I have just purchased this lens used and have R6. Cannot wait, I was considering 600mm F4, but that was too expensive and then I found out about the built-in 1.4x extender...did not wait any longer. God bless you all, photographers! :)
Thanks for the great video! I did the same thing and I was blown away by the human eye focus capabilities. I am using the $99 canon adapter. It’s really fun but heavy. I subscribed. Please do more videos with the R5 and 200-400 EF. Thanks
You might want to go through and loctite the screws that hold on the mount rings on that particular adapter. Mine worked great except the screws would back out after a while. This was using only 70-200 f4l and the 17-40 f4l. I imagine the extra weight from the 200-400 f4 would make that worse.
I use this on my R5 and it’s phenomenal! Eye capture is very fast and sharp. Thanks

The 200 - 400 is a zoom!. Not a prime!
Hi Mark. You right. the name was not correct but I wanted to give an impression of high price canon lenses how they perform on a canon r5.
@@DavidfromSwitzerland 50mm 1.8 is prime and cheap so prime does not mean expensive

Hello, are you still satisfied with this combination ? I have à r5 and i would like to buy a 200-400mm f4. Thank’s for your answer.
Hi, yes i am. Canon ef lens performs still same fast on r cameras then on older ef systems.
Looks impressive, very big. Take great photos. Can you also use it to take night shots?
Yes this camera can be also use for night photography . But this i will test soon. 🙂
Hopefully you will soon have optimal weather to try out. I look forward to the result
@@DavidfromSwitzerland Please stop calling a zoom lens "prime". Prime means fixed focal length, not cost or quality.
How about using Sony A7R4 or A1 with this Canon 200-400 F4 lens? Thanks for sharing!
Focusing performance would be somewhat hindered by the adapter going between the 2 brands.
Selling 200-400 lens ?
I will keep it .is a very good lens😊
it's not a prime it's a zoom lend😊
okok I know I already mention that bevor. but now I changed the title for all youtuber nerds ^^
@@DavidfromSwitzerland Thx alot. are you still satisfied with the lens
