Have a two process to extend wifi range, one through WPS or 2nd through cable .

@@shubhamnator 1st you on WPS services on your jio router, you can find wps bottom on jio router back side then connect with your wifi extend devices.

@@sm_infotech I fixed it, VoIP on Jio needs IPV6 to be enabled. I have to enable it for VoIP.

Hi hope u doing well i got jio giga fiber connection connected to extender tp link deco and therefore both of them connected to ups as electricity goes off quite often but im facing problems like jio router light goes red blinking sometimes its stable green still internet not working jio experts saying jio router is not capable for range extenders through ethernet cable can u please guide me out thanks a lot.

1st run ping to your to link router IP if it continues 1 mnts without break then ok also run ping with same IP when led red that time if ping continues then tp link router ok.
2no when led red that time run ping your jio router IP also router default IP, if router IP continues & default is not continues ping break in this situation unplug tp link router cable from jio router then check what happened

Ipv6 is not support... you try ipv4.
1st you dns ping go to run type "ping 4.2.2.2"
Brother just format your router once.
If not fixed then contact the executives as it maybe that your ipv4 service were blocked due to mishandling of connection maybe.
Most of the websites on internet still run on ipv4 as there is no further development in ipv6 internet protocol

@@abhishekchowdhury103 if your connection is Jiofiber, then I think it is not possible to connect another router instead Jio Router, Jio fiber only support Jio Router. You call jio help line or local operator.
Brother, Its Possible but the main problem is that jio doesn't provide the TR-069 details to any of the consumer or even its agents.
The TR-069 details which helps you to connect to internet are stored in jio server.
Jio done this when it was launched because it wanted to make money from security for router and doesnt want any other router to be used for its connections.
BTW You can use your Gigabit router as an extender.
I am using my airtel router as extender for jio but the problem is that jio doesnt support MU-MIMO so it just became wastage of my time.
Use as an extender. In your personal router set the operation mode as extender and use lan cable in input and connect to Jiofiber router.

You can choose MAC filter option, in this option you add your mobile Mac address which you want to access this router. Only this listed devices can connecte with router, other devices will be not connecte if know password or QR code.

They came and said they needed the wifi for some transaction and I couldn’t say no. Now they have the default details. And I forgot to mention when I try to access my device from jio app it says JioFiber Home gateway is offline and there are no paired device. Thanks for the reply.

You first go to Security option in Jio router then go to "content filter" then flow the process, also you will see more block option in security section that you can use
