i had such an obsession with these lights as a kid. I still have some lights which have 2x300watt=600watt lights inside. If you turn it on, 30seconds later you can cook an egg on it. They still work after many years though. And all of these lights use colored lenses, because lights that can change color, or led, didnt exist at the time. Funny how now a days you can buy the same type of lights using led for a fraction of the price through aliexpres or something which are just as bright but use 0.1% the power

This is a lighting effect made by Richard Martin Lighting (RML) and it's called "Barrel". You can see it often in the old videos of "Top Of The Pops".. Very rare unit by the way. Only a "hand full" ever made..

I don't think there is any shop out there in these days which is still dealing with such lights..
