It takes a very long time to develop the skills to play most of if not all of the things you have been teaching us, Dan. Maybe the quickest thing I’ve been able to pick up has been the first lessons you posted about alternating bass and chords. The trills offer something that can be practiced all the time with minimal mental effort. It’s all muscle memory and technique. Correct me if I’m wrong. I thoroughly enjoy this channel but nothing has come very easy but the lessons are clear and the music is just perfect to develop the skills for this style. All I can really say is that I hope you don’t take them down becauum going to need a year probably but it won’t be a year of pain. It’ll be a blessing.

Hello Dan Brown, I am Ken Braun. If you are playing in the key of A you should be using sharp notes only, unless using accidentals.

Yes, that’s right! I will go into this video and see where that stands out. I was using a virtual keyboard for a while, and not aware that I could tell it what key I was in. I have that fixed now. Thank you for your comment here, and please let me know if you see anything else that I can improve on!

Try the EASY WALKING videos, as they are easier! The Walk Up lessons are really more advanced. But, try them in the same key if you can.
