Truly gorgeous Lisa. I love watching you create these gorgeous and inspirational scenes. Awesome you share what you have used too. As for future videos .... YES PLEASE!!! 💕💕💕
I always think I need everything and like many cannot afford all I would like to buy. Thank you Lisa for showing us that you don't always need to buy a shops worth of supplies to do something truly lovely. I'v only been dabbling for 6 or 7 years but have far too many thing and it all gets confusing. I'm going to start and rethink what I need to do. Lovely demonstration as always.
I am in awe of your talent!!!. You make it look so easy and it ends up looking so detailed and complicated. Thank you for sharing your talent. Whenever I get in a funk , I watch you create and am inspired once again.
Just a wonderfull creation! Love the choices of color. Very much enjoyed the video. And the music takes you into the scene while it grows under your hands. So beautiful and inspiring, thank you Lisa. 🌸
Your work just takes my breath away 🤗....I have never seen anyone on utube or The Craft Store shows do such magnificent things with inks and stamps....bravo 👏👏👏....Jane Rochfort North Wales....💕
I am absolutely entranced by the creations you magically put together. I am simply in awe. Thank you for explanations and tutoring. I cannot wait to see what I can experiment with. You make it seem as though anything is possible...that feels magical. Such incredible talent while simultaneously modest. Thank you
This video was amazing! I'm a watercolorists, but I never saw this hack with the coin! It was also very interesting to see, how the element inks work together. The usage of the distress, to give the trees a snowy touch, wow! And the usage of the stancil to build grass, makes this things easier! I also liked the music! HM, I will, no I must try this background with inks and maybe a mix with watercolor or even with my ecolines. Oh, I'm so motivated now! Thanks!
Thanks Tanja I suppose I’m adapting watercolour techniques for stampers. Only in the Fantasy landscapes of Lavinia stamps the colours are bolder . That’s the beauty of it using mixed media and layers -anything goes! I’m from a painting background too.
I love how organized you are and show all the supplies that you use before you get started. This is extremely helpful. Your art work is always amazing. Thank you for sharing 💖🇨🇦
I just love the way you created the background trees, especially the pine trees using oxide ink that dried looking like snow. I love the way you stamped on the damp paper and the ink reaction when it dried. You are incredibly talented and I love the way you explain why you are doing things and what it will achieve. What an incredible imagination and creative mind. Lavinia is such an incredible group of creative artists. All of you have different, but beautiful creations. I also love the way you use different inks, pens ect from different brands. I have always shied away from mixing different brands because I just was not sure if the ingredients would dry correctly together. Thank you for your beautiful video and I learn so much from all of you.
What fabulous feedback! Thank you so much! Very glad to help and that you are enjoying the work from the team. I tend to be quite unrestrained when it comes to mixing my stuff. It all has to be used and all sorts of art supplies along with the stamps give me enormous pleasure! 🙏😘
Wow, just wow! I will try to create something even close to this magical masterpiece but, I have my doubts. Thanks for sharing. It Really Does Inspire!
Another beautyfull art page.thank you for shareing..you definitely inspire me more to use the different mediums & the whole process of it ..thank you again . Hope all is well 🌻 😁
All I can say is again, Bravo. I've watched this several times and it's just magical as it comes to life. I like your format, showing the items used and really appreciate the explanation of the process and why - it's helpful to those of us that don't know how to achieve shadows/depths/foregrounds, etc. I'd love to see a video using the stairs, bridges, paths. I've been trying so hard to use those stamps but am just at a loss as to how to incorporate them. Love your artwork. It's my favorite in the Lavinia world.
Carol thank you so much for your kind feedback it’s important and it means a lot to me. If you check out my website at Inkybliss.com I have loads of step by step tutorials incorporating all sorts of lavinia stamps including bridges and steps. I will have more video tutorials here too. Thanks again. 😘
I’ve never sold my work. I may set up a shop on my website at some stage. I need to get organised! A lot of my pieces go to craft television in the UK and the Lavinia stamps shop in Wales. X
I am enchanted watching you create such a magical scene. I love that you share all the tiny little techniques you use to create such beautiful pieces of art. Just fab!!!
What a beautiful piece, Lisa. Don’t know what was more magical, the final result or watching it appear before our eyes. I’ll definitely be having a go. Thanks for the great insights into how you achieve your shadows! Amazing !
Very Beautiful, how can you get the background like yours when you do not have any spay colours?, You have a talent to create such such beautiful backgrounds. I love watching you give me a lot of pleasure, thank you for sharing. xx
So BEAUTIFUL, what do you do with all the things you make. I would have a hard time giving them away...I would want to frame them and keep them ALL. You are fantastic at this. Thank you for sharing your time with us.
Thank you Pattie to answer your question , most go to the display in the Lavinia stamps shop and to Hochanda tv the arts and craft tv channel. Those that don’t I keep in a box in my art studio. As I’m always asked if I sell my work I’m considering setting up a small shop on my website at some stage. 😘
I absolutely adore your work! I can't get enough! My favorite of all lavinia stamp tutorials. Would you consider doing something with a sunrise? I have the night time down but I struggle with the sun
Thank you for you kind comments! I have many step by step picture tutorials for sunrise pictures on my website . Here’s one example inkybliss.com/2020/05/11/the-promise-of-tomorrow/
Meg I’ll see what I can do. The next video is already prepared. It’s also a winter scene. No dragons I’m afraid but happy to add it to the list for later.
This is one of the most inspiring and enchanting Lavinia tutorials I have seen. So happy to have found your channel. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and amazing creative talent.
Thank you Christel. My pieces aren’t cards. I do mostly wall art. I don’t work to particular sizes. From memory This piece was quite large about 8’x8’ I think. Your version doesn’t have to be that size. I hope the techniques and idea will help you create your own similar design. Yours will be unique! I hope you enjoy your creative journey. Xx
Very nice. Question: Can you suggest an alternative to pan pastels that one can experiment with for effect but maybe a beginners price tag. Again, thanks from the heart! Take easy T
Theresa just ordinary soft stick pastels do just as well. I recommend toison d’or they are extra soft and nicely pigmented. The pan pastels contain binder which means they adhere to the surface better and don’t require fixative. That’s the difference .Hope that helps.
Truly gorgeous Lisa. I love watching you create these gorgeous and inspirational scenes. Awesome you share what you have used too. As for future videos ....

It’s ‘Haunting winter snow’ by Zac Nelson

I think it’s about 8’ x 8’ or possibly 9’ x 9’ either would be fine. It’s a large picture. X
