I got the lamp at Ikea but I don't think they sell them anymore unfortunately. You can find similar lamps like it on Amazon. The thing you want to look for is a narrow beam of light. This is what will you the best still life lighting. Two great tips here. Tape the canvas to hardie board, and drill a hole thru a ball and put it on a dowel for a mahl stick....Thanks!

Thanks for this! I like your idea of hanging a tea towel or similar over the top front of the still life box to block out extra light.
