Hey guys!! I must have been half asleep when I edited this - I realized I totally forgot to talk about the 2 candles that I got!! So sorry guys - I will mention them in a future video! Out of the perfumes, these were I would say the 3 stars of today's video; the Vanilla Woods in hindsight I have to say is a TOUCH less woody and more CARAMEL than the MK Midnight Shimmer --- so I've already ordered a full bottle. My man LOVES it. Let me know your favorte BBW candles as well please!!

I use the bbw body sprays as air freshener. I basically just spray it on the curtains or my sheets. As the the body sprays are not very strong or long lasting I think they are perfect for freshening the room.
YES so happy you tried vanilla woods!! I’m completely in love with it! Ended up getting a full bottle of it and first day wearing it I got a compliment. It also lasted on me all day
So glad you were able to to get Alien essence absolute!! I got a bottle from the same place just around June so I'm sure they'll be restocking in another couple months! I am so glad I am not the only one who appreciates the fragrance mist - Sweet Whiskey. It is different from the usual B&BW fragrance mists.

The same thing happened to me with Chloe Nomade, I didn’t like it at first sniff but the more I wear it the more i feel like I am in love with it. Into the Night is one of my favorite BBW scent. Great video as always 👌🏽
That little box is so cute 🙌 I'm not a body spray kind of person either but since you already bought a couple, you might consider layering them with perfumes you have and see if you like the result. If not then you can totally gift them as you said you might
Altamir by Ted Lapidus is like $20 or less and smells very similar to Alien Essence Absolu! It’s marketed toward men but is extremely sweet and feminine. I bought a sample because someone on Fragrantica made that comparison and i must agree.
Please try Cashmere Glow. It's a retired scent but they still sell it.
Personally I find it almost smells like a perfume and not BBWish.

If you like middle eastern scents definitely try the Rasasi brand. They’re relatively inexpensive and super long lasting 👍🏻 one of my favorites is Shuhrah pour femme ❤️

Like I said before, I think we like the same fragrances. I just purchased jo malone orange Blossom- you would love! I concur with your feelings on peony and wood sage. I got minis as free gifts.
I got Into the night fragrance last year..I always wore it to parties or date night..big compliment getter. Surprisingly it lasted a good bit. Love it.
Your collection grew considerably since last time, so definitely yes to the whole perfume collection video. The fragrance journey is such an individual and interesting experience, isn't it. The taste constantly changes and evolves. And it has so much to do with body chemistry. I recently figured out why Chanel fragrances never worked out for me. It's the patchouli (and also musk). Just like my skin overpowers the rose note, the patchouli dominates every other notes on my skin. I'm looking for a nice summery, citrusy perfume for some time. I like Versace Versence on paper very much, however the musk ruins everything (musk is another note which reacts very badly on my skin). I tried very hard to like Chance Eau Fraiche but i never smellt anything citrusy. It's fresh maybe for the first 30 minutes and then it turns into plain patchouli scent. Coco Mademoiselle too. In between seeps musk unpleasantly through. After some blind buy fails I decided always to test the fragrance on the skin first.
That’s the best way to do it is try on skin. I find this is especially true for florals, citruses and musks. Most gourmands and vanillas and orientals I can get away with no matter what; they tend to smell the same on my skin or better than they do on clothes or paper.
@@thesimplechiclife That's nice that you can get away with certain scents. If the local store doesn't have the perfume to test, the blind buy is little bit like russian roullette.

Yes please, I love perfume collections.
My favorite jo Malone are wood sage and sea salt ,blackberry and bay ,mimosa and cardamon ,golden vanilla and vetivert, barely and poppy has a really nice blackcuurent note to it. Myrrh and tonka, neckerine and honey blossom, velvet rose and oud, orange bitters which come out for Christmas each year. I own 3 jo Malone scents blackberry and bay, neckerine and honey blossom and ginger biscuit which was limted edition. Sweetest jo Malone scent smells like ginger bread cookies. My best friend wears earl grey and cucumber and dark amber and ginger lilly. Too bad you don't live near a jo Malone counter they have the best customer service generous with samples pre covid. I've sampled so many jo Malone scents.
I am so into bath and body works candles right now! My kitchen smells like "Paris café" that's my favorite of the month😉

Have you tried the invisibobble scrunchie? It's the best of both worlds. It's gentle on the hair due to the velvet or satin material, yet it holds super well because of the built in spiral ring! Game changer for me :)

I have a 10 ml decant of Alien Essence Absolue and I love it it lasts 8+ hrs on me hopefully I'll be able to get a full size bottle

Bought Into the night last year. Really enjoy it for the price My fave candle was Fall Farmhouse but it did not return this year. Would like to find similar scent to it

A question about Jo Malone - have you considered layering? They really push the narrative that Jo Malone scents work well when layered, and I've found that's the case with the ones I've tried. The wood sage might add a little edge to the peony!
I haven’t yet but I should try it and see how it goes!:)

I do really like Gucci Bloom - the original is my favorite of all of them. I used to have Gucci Bloom, the only reason I got rid of it is because I think I was in a decluttering mood and figured I had other florals I would reach for more often. But Gucci Bloom is amazing.
I got a full bottle of Killian Princess the other day and sadly had to return it, on me it lasted about 10 minutes, I couldn’t justify the price for such a terrible performance!

I just blind bought it because I adore nomade but honestly I don’t like it as much as the original it’s a bit more masculine in my opinion and it doesn’t last as long on me as the OG but try it first it might be beautiful on you we all

I have trained her not to make a mess in the house except her bedroom - her bedroom is her domain she can make it as messy or clean as she likes, but she has to clean up after herself in the rest of the house. It's been solidly ingrained in her head lol.

yes if you like Into the Night you'd also enjoy other ambery sweet fruity scents - nuit tresor, yes, and in my opinion the nuit tresor is better. :)

Can someone compare into the night and into the stars people compare into the stars wit BR540 so i wonder!! I’ll go in soon and purchase it but i wonder if it is similar to BR540.
I don't find it to be similar to BR540, not sure if that helps. BR 540 is truly a gem, the closest I found to it is Al Haramain Amber Oud Rouge, which is also strong and comparable with the performance of BR540, if not better performance. It's also affordable. Can be found on Amazon or discount fragrance sites.

Jo Malone has horrible performance on the skin. I bought the peony & blush fragrance and now just use it on my bedding because it lasts longer on fabric. I bought a $70 linen spray. Lol 🙄
I have very good luck with performance of most Jo Malone on me. Red Roses lasted 24 hours and through a shower.
