Boa! Qual é que não sabias?
As a fluent Spanish speaker, most of these are no problem for me. However, I thought lamp was "a lâmpada" (cf Spanish "la lámpara"). Is "lâmpada" also used in European Portuguese, or is it more of a Brazilian word? Obrigado pelo conteúdo Sandra, e feliz Páscoa, desde Dallas Texas!

@@learneuropeanportuguese Já percebi. Parece que no Brasil, "lâmpada" usa-se às vezes para "lamp" e adiciona-se o adjetivo "elétrica" para indicar "light bulb". Por isso estava confuso.

@@learneuropeanportuguese Concordo! Em espanhol "lámpara" quer dizer sempre "lamp" e diz-se "bombillo", "bombilla" ou "bombita" para "bulb". Na minha opinião, frequentemente o vocabulário brasileiro tem mais semelhanças com o espanhol do que com o português (pelo menos o europeu). Interesante, não é? Talvez seja assim em consequência da geografia, com a maior influência do espanhol no Brasil.
