If you play Elf, on 13:44, revive Flamberge from grave with Promethean, Flamberge puts IP in backrow, Promethean+Formula=Elf, Elf revives Formula so end board is Formula, Flamberge, Elf, Borrel, with IP in backrow. It's basically same exact board, but you have additional Elf targeting protection and extra Elf revive on opponent turn. If you want to be really fancy, you can make Herald of Arc Light with the things your Flamberge vomits after making Baronne because Formula isn't once per turn. Or even weird lv10 synchros like Chengying or Dispater. To be fair most fancier things aren't needed, so probably it's just Elf that needs to be played.
There is absolutely nothing you can cut in that extra deck. Maybe Accesscode is win more since you can otk pretty easily with field spell atk boost and zealantis/prom combo, but I would play accesscode over elf any day of the week. Whale is mandatory here because we don't have raging phoenix and you need a fire link 4 to go into zealantis with prom+revive. I hate whale and have never played it in the TCG, but here after 40 or so games I added it (was playing goddess before, which imo is another option that is better than elf).

For the Synchro version, Oak should send Linkuriboh instead of Princess for Flamberge. Then Princess and Formula make Elf, Elf revives Formula. This way next turn you can: Flamberge summons IP, Formula Synchro with Flamberge into Baronne. Flamberge revives Ash and Poplar. They do their searches. Then you CL1 Linkuriboh tribute anything, CL2 IP and CL3 Elf to revive Formula. This sets up 3 mat Appo under Elf with Linkuriboh protection.
Elf makes the ceiling in this combo higher, but it is actually an overkilll tbh. The board without elf is in 99% of the cases already winning. So i rather not have elf consuming a slot in the extra deck for the extended version of this combo (which btw wont happen very often, cuz most of the times you will get hand trapped at some point)
Any idea what is ideal to end on if you get Maxx C'd? I usually just play it by ear based on what interruptions I have in hand but SE definitely needs a ton of SS to even get started so I dunno if you just pass or what 😅😂

I'd still be on nib just for the crossout flexibility, changing a single mourner for it won't do much harm, if anything it's better to draw mourner and nib that 2 mourner, also subversion saves so many random situations it's genuinely really good as it turns diabelstar and poplar, I'd probably cut the bystials for it and maybe add a droll(as just a good handtraps, crossout target, and maxx c out) or kurikara(tho I'm seeing people cutting it)
Question, Can you use DD Crow in exchange of the bystials? this can help you dealing with transaction rollback IIRC because transaction rollback targets a trap card in the GY, with the added benefit of dealing with monsters of any attribute like poplar that is fire,.
No, it's specifically druiswurm that messes with unchained because it banishes yama AND sends things to grave (rather than destroying). Crow doesn't do that at all. Crow vs snake eye is also really really weak. Also bystials are great to deal with apo vs the weak snake eye board, which again crow cannot do at all.
For the mourners, I think the deck will play fine at 41 cuz you have about 16 starters. That’s a little over 90 percent of your games you will open 1 or more starters. The numbers support going up to 41 for the third Mourner
I’m basically using this same deck before the update with bonfire at M3 with it. I have red reboot teched into it because they’re royals plus shut down blow out traps

Elfs good but flamberge does the same plus, also you should try salamangreat wolf, as you can refresh your ash blossoms per turn, it works really good with this deck. And for good topping add decode talker heatsoul for free draws
Damn Snake Eyes. I played floodgates against this deck, issue is going second when they already established a board. Add soul release on your deck, it allows you to banished 5 cards in either graveyard, good when going 2nd.
You can use the gamma package too (which are 2 SR and 1R) Some times it also counters maxC. If you manage to use it in your turn, for instance when baiting hand traps before summoning it is basically a free borreload as well.
Tier 0 where 90% of the deck are UR's. Seems fair
