Of course I could’ve been doing something wrong with brim, but if I was, then my friends weren’t bringing it up (I even made my own lineups and stuff) That’s just my experience though
Controller is the hardest role to climb because of u often bottom frag so u +less rr when u win and lose more rrs when u lose and u cant do a lot if your duelists are bad. But since I played brim, i went to ascendant from hardstuck gold on solo.
THIS. I used to play jett and was stuck in silver for a few monts switched to brim and gone up to g2 in 4 days. Insane. If team is bad i just play as duelist and top frag using his flashes and if my duelists know how to aim i just stun for them and stay bakc

This just makes me think that smurfs are more common than one would expect - namely, that most of them play badly and don't live up to ideals of "smurfing performance". Which is to be expected I suppose, after all lower ranks are more unpredictable as you said. Smurfing is essentially undetectable unless the player does absurdly better, so this may very well be the case...
plot twist: he's playing against other smurfs because the most normal thing on this game is to smurf to inflate your ego and feel good about your gameplay after you got destroyed in your actual rank, so it's almost 1 or 2 smurfs per silver/gold/plat game
I literally reverse smurfed in a plat diamond lobby as a hardstuck silver and dropped 2nd frag so it makes sense as to why these diamonds did so poorly lmfao
The thing is a lot of high rank players often climb up with a party so they have good strategies, are organised and communicate well which helps them win more often but if you talk about individual skills then it might not be that good that they can make solo plays in lower ranked lobbies. If you spectate solo queue streamers who have reached immortal and stuff then you will know the skill difference between solo que players and party players.
many people from lower ranks arent bad they just lack game sense. I have a friend that is sitting in silver since act 3 and he aims pretty well but he is lost when it comes to reading game lol
15:09 yep. the answer is yes. i got a friend who got banned by smurfing recently cuz he was playing some of our accounts which are a lower rank than he is (tbh i have no clue what his actual rank is lol but somewhere around plat/diamond if im not wrong) and the account itself doesnt get banned. but ur ip address does so til this day he still cant play val at home
Something with the valo ranking system, I as a hardstuck gold 3 have succesfully played like smurfs in diamond lobbies , it really sound insane but idk what, there are soo damn freaking good players in gold lobby or maybe they are radiant smurfs or something
Maybe he just had a badgame but bro is playing same spot on defence - default box.. Sure u play there in the beginning for headshot angle on belt but he's not aiming there either.. And then no reposition either, he's just stuck there where he has to look top 410 coming frm zip, jumping 410 frm pipes, left, right so he's getting rekt by util ezly too so doesn't matter how good he is, playing the same spot doesn't come with a bad day idk
This is why the Val community is a rough place, the entire community is too worried about kills, thinks a guy is smurfing, but NEVER do I hear anyone talk about the game sense they have. So that helps their trash teammate play better positions and recognize things happening in the game. And the trash teammate will blindly listen to the Smurf and win more rounds because of it.
yeah i mean this wasnt the best example i guess, but when i smurfed on my friends account because he really couldnt get through silver 3 and we wanted to play together i match mvpd 4 games in a row and dropped 30+ kills almost every game and probably ruined some peoples days despite me being only plat at the time what im trying to say is that smurfing can be really bad, you can easily solo carry if youre good enough compared to your opponents

@@terryriley6410 bro unranked has some of the worst people on the planet i would rather suffer for eternity than play there, and the point wasnt to make him better it was to play together because at the time i didnt have an actual smurf account and it takes time to get one to level 20 + cope, didnt ask
haha lmao, i kinda go through the same stuff when i smurf. also, the thing about keepin scores tight is not about getting banned, its about getting placed in ur own elo in the next 1-2 games. like u chill and just fool around and then all of a sudden its not fun when u get thrown into ur own elo cuz u do too well.

Im d3 so in the same rank as the raze but i recognized so many mistakes made by the raze as an example on a-site they basically always made the same flash but raze never really changed her position and fell for it every time also raze has more advanced experience due to her rank and should use that to win more rounda by communicating with his team and maybe try to igl because he knows better what to do most time then the rest
@@aquan9237 I agree compleatly, I think the fact they were also playing raze who dose NOT get reworded for playing selfishly , at least not to the extent of chr like reyna jett or chamber. I also have a theory that silver and gold have really good aim because they’re new so aim is all they train. No game sense, no util usage, they’re playing cs go in overwatch
Honestly, I'd like to see a valid discussion of the possibility or probability of a 5-7 kill death ratio vs a 2-3 kd ratio. I see 42:6 or 36:4 etc going "I'm just having a good game" knowing full good and will no one in bronze has that kinda good game. Closing out a game with 24:12 or 30:15 makes sense. You've essentially gotten 2 kills for each death. But closing out a game with 4 deaths and 36 kills... You CANNOT convince me you're not smurfing. I was close to silver rank up. Iv we been playing 2 months. And I lost 3/4 of my games that day each one with a super cracked out Smurf. It's really annoying. I would even say game ruining.
I find smurfing is very unpredictable for whether it actually works or not. I have a couple diamond/ascendant friends and when I was in silver they just couldn't perform in those lobbies. Silvers are built diff lmao. Everyone is diamond and iron all at the same time lmaooo. My diamond friends actually get so frustrated in those lobbies. They couldn't even carry me out. I ended up just basically solo queueing and now I'm G3. Occasionally we played games/5 stacked but we never won consistently to actually help me rank up. I'm telling you, silvers are just fucking weird ass but I'm sure we all already knew this
I got to asc 1 for the first time today's morning, and what i noticed while climbing, is that the difference between the ranks is nothing but mentality, comms between teammates of the same rank and more knowlage of utility. If you are high rank and smurf, the lower rank people don't know how to react to your comms as much as teammates of your same rank. So what you need to smurf is insane self centered gameplay or a good carisma and knowladge to teach your low rank team how to play, so smurfing is not as op as it seems but still is awful to deal with if the smurf know how to destroy you
It sucks as a silver player because you either top-frag with terrible teammates that stare at walls or you have an average game with a Reyna on the opposite team who is dropping a 30 bomb
I have a friend who is diamond 2 and smurfs into my gold 2 ish lobbies and he is so agro I swear he is throwing when I play with him sometimes. The adjustment from silver from diamond is that the enemy and teammates have a different playstyle and thought process which makes it hard to smurf. Also ngl my diamond 2 friend has alot more crispy aim. He drops at least 30 like every game when he smurfs into gold.
About the discussion of what to do when your friend plays really bad and what to tell him to lift him up, regardless of it being a comp match, Id try to tell him that he should try less instead of harder, the more desperate you are to play better when youre having a bad day the worse your performance gets. He shouldnt troll obviously, but make sure his body and mouse grip arent tensed up, that might not boost his performance by a lot, but the less you try the less youre gonna be frustrated when things dont work out the way you want to
You should do something like 4 silvers with a diamond or asc smurf vs 5 golds. Just so you can see if the smurf makes enough of a difference to cause what would be a losing team to win. When you throw him into silver vs silver, the team with the smurf could just happen to also be better silver players.
"You make the job easier for your cracked out gamers" meanwhile in my silver lobbies my duelist are bottom fraging while me the kay-o and the sage are hard carrying *sighs in pain* also dude had no idea how to play neon so I called out when to runway for him.

I have several times ran through CT side spawn with my knife out as an attacker, no noise cutting, and just stabbed a defender in the back who either doesn't have their headphone plugged in or are just massively confused. Have yet to be able to do it in a gold lobby.
I was in a similar situation as your friend where by half I was 0/8. My teammate at the time got on the mic and just said, “hey dude, it’s all good, sometimes we just have off days or off games.” After he said that I ended up clutching two rounds and we ended up winning the game. Ended the game with a 1.0 k/d
same, i was 0/7 and at the end 16/14
I was called a smurf in bronze-silver elo, but I was on my way to being demoted to bronze 3 again
Same like me. #Iam so unconstant
@@sinni2734 fr. I go from dropping 30 kills in gold/silver lobby (lobby cuz party w/ higher rank) one game to bot fragging in bronze 😭
Most of the smurfs I have ran into tend to play lurk to out time the enemy team. Timing diff is big for higher ranks.
i had a reyna that was 0/14 at half and i said “okay reyna this is your half” and they match mvped at the end 😂
I have been playing valorant since day 1 of launch. It is my first tact shooter or any comp FPS for that matter, needless to say the learning curve was massive for me. Personally, I started off playing with support agents (cypher, omen, sage, KJ) and after being frustrated because I was hardstuck high gold, started playing duelists. It didn't really work for me. Eventually, I just took a break from playing and consumed a lot informative content and pro play, love you sgares, sliggy, boaster, even Hiko and babyJ's streams can be super informative
Valorant was my third game I had ever played on Pc, and before that the only FOS game I had played was call of duty on the Xbox 360 lmao, it has been rough

alternate title: when silvers decide to warm up for 12 hours only for an eggwick video
In terms of the class easiest to climb, I used to main brimstone for like two months at least, and was hardstuck silver, then when I switched to yoru I went up to gold 2 in like 5 days. Of course I could’ve been doing something wrong with brim, but if I was, then my friends weren’t bringing it up (I even made my own lineups and stuff)
That’s just my experience though
Controller is the hardest role to climb because of u often bottom frag so u +less rr when u win and lose more rrs when u lose and u cant do a lot if your duelists are bad.
But since I played brim, i went to ascendant from hardstuck gold on solo.
i was hardstuck gold 3 and when I switched to astra I became ascendant 1.
I think every class is equal if you are at your deserved rank. But if youre hardstuck, changing something always helps.
THIS. I used to play jett and was stuck in silver for a few monts switched to brim and gone up to g2 in 4 days. Insane. If team is bad i just play as duelist and top frag using his flashes and if my duelists know how to aim i just stun for them and stay bakc
@@saddish2816 breach doesn’t have flashes or stuns. You mean breach?
6:17 When he asks what do you do when your teammate is doing bad to lift their spirits. My buddies when I do bad on my smurf acc "Hey where are those diamond plays at lol", proceeds to pop off, sometimes ill get an ace , but most times i just get 3kills per round until im mvp, then I tell them to stick it. Being negative is the best remedy for me to be positive.

I was stuck in silver and gold for years. Finally pushed to plat 3, once I hit plat 1 I pushed to plat 3 in 5 days. Almost diamond 1 now, 6 days and counting. Nobody can convince me gold and silver are easier ranks than plat
I feel like a normal smurf would be alot more confident with less pressure.
When I was diamond a while ago, I smurfed in gold and dropped 30+ kills almost every game.
Skilll diff, this Diamond is the worse smurf I’ve ever seen
This just makes me think that smurfs are more common than one would expect - namely, that most of them play badly and don't live up to ideals of "smurfing performance". Which is to be expected I suppose, after all lower ranks are more unpredictable as you said. Smurfing is essentially undetectable unless the player does absurdly better, so this may very well be the case...
As a diamond player Gold lobbies might be the most traumatizing, chaotic game
he played the same spot for 10 rounds
16:00 this made me laugh so hard after a bad day thanks
Both diamonds plays like silver/gold lmao
plot twist: he's playing against other smurfs because the most normal thing on this game is to smurf to inflate your ego and feel good about your gameplay after you got destroyed in your actual rank, so it's almost 1 or 2 smurfs per silver/gold/plat game
funny how im a bronze "smurf" in an iron lobby and the kids in iron play like theyve never played a fps game in their life
Thats not how diamond ppl play, he has to be boosted af
I especially hope hes not a raze main, cause mans shit at raze (especially the nades holy fuck)
Can’t blame him for being nervous, I get nervous when no one is what king me lmao
I finally got out from silver today. Just got promoted gold1. Aim training paid off :)
I literally reverse smurfed in a plat diamond lobby as a hardstuck silver and dropped 2nd frag so it makes sense as to why these diamonds did so poorly lmfao
This diamond is boosted asf tho. I smurf at Silver whenever I play with friends and the skill gap between Silver and Diamond is huge.
My best friend is peak Immo 3. He couldn’t even carry us to victory in my Iron 3 lobbies lmao
The Reyna is the player we think we play like but in reality we're the Raze
The thing is a lot of high rank players often climb up with a party so they have good strategies, are organised and communicate well which helps them win more often but if you talk about individual skills then it might not be that good that they can make solo plays in lower ranked lobbies. If you spectate solo queue streamers who have reached immortal and stuff then you will know the skill difference between solo que players and party players.
Okay ima be honest these diamonds are whiffing harder than bronzes 😂
This was literally the most doodoo butter diamond of all time
many people from lower ranks arent bad they just lack game sense.
Ty this video gave me confidence that I can be diamond to LMAO. RAze gave real comforting gameplay lol.
This smurf just wasnt playing like a smurf cuz he dont have smurf mentality, he was playing with the team
To smurf, you just have to go no brain only aim
True I mean I usually hold an angle(rafters or nest) and reposition under rafters or dice for the retake
This is why the Val community is a rough place, the entire community is too worried about kills, thinks a guy is smurfing, but NEVER do I hear anyone talk about the game sense they have. So that helps their trash teammate play better positions and recognize things happening in the game. And the trash teammate will blindly listen to the Smurf and win more rounds because of it.
yeah i mean this wasnt the best example i guess, but when i smurfed on my friends account because he really couldnt get through silver 3 and we wanted to play together i match mvpd 4 games in a row and dropped 30+ kills almost every game and probably ruined some peoples days despite me being only plat at the time
what im trying to say is that smurfing can be really bad, you can easily solo carry if youre good enough compared to your opponents
You can play together in unranked, no reason for you to smurf, your friend is below you skill-wise, this won't change just cause you win some games for them. Try coaching them if you really care.
@@terryriley6410 bro unranked has some of the worst people on the planet i would rather suffer for eternity than play there, and the point wasnt to make him better it was to play together because at the time i didnt have an actual smurf account and it takes time to get one to level 20 + cope, didnt ask
Alt title: Boosted diamond plays on his deserved rank
haha lmao, i kinda go through the same stuff when i smurf. also, the thing about keepin scores tight is not about getting banned, its about getting placed in ur own elo in the next 1-2 games. like u chill and just fool around and then all of a sudden its not fun when u get thrown into ur own elo cuz u do too well.
when a smurf meets a better smurf, thts just everyday in silver lobby man.
I think the team with not smurfs had AMAZING enterys on A site (for there rank) they were always combo'ing the omen blind with another peace of utility. they pushed together and were almost always tradeable. onm the other hand our raze never pulled back, never played retake they held site and got punished by ulti + double swings
wow a competent analysis in an eggwick comment section, nice
Im d3 so in the same rank as the raze but i recognized so many mistakes made by the raze as an example on a-site they basically always made the same flash but raze never really changed her position and fell for it every time also raze has more advanced experience due to her rank and should use that to win more rounda by communicating with his team and maybe try to igl because he knows better what to do most time then the rest
@@aquan9237 I agree compleatly, I think the fact they were also playing raze who dose NOT get reworded for playing selfishly , at least not to the extent of chr like reyna jett or chamber. I think if they just took a less passive role is this game it 100% could have won that, they just failed to pick up on a couple ques, probably due to the lack of comunication between players
Yeah sometimes that happens i usually am mid frag to top frag in plat lobbies but usually always near mid frag to bot frag in silver/bronze lobbies:/
Someone carry me out of Bronze bruh
sure dude whats ur ign

Bruhhh me in iron
@@grandghosty i’ll carry you too 😂
If someone boosts you out - you will be back in No time. Its better to just learn and go up by yourself :)
As a diamond 2 who regularly drops 20 in diamond, sniffing in silver is hard af, they’re constantly doing weird shit and making ego peeks so egotistical you don’t expect it.
I'm telling you, silvers are just fucking weird ass but I'm sure we all already knew this
I was just waiting for the "plot twist guys everyone was diamond and the person we spectated was silver"
are we gonna talk about that guy in the chat who sadi "MY CRUSH SAID YES" ??? 0:34
i should stop smurfing eggwick’s peak
I got to asc 1 for the first time today's morning, and what i noticed while climbing, is that the difference between the ranks is nothing but mentality, comms between teammates of the same rank and more knowlage of utility. If you are high rank and smurf, the lower rank people don't know how to react to your comms as much as teammates of your same rank. So what you need to smurf is insane self centered gameplay or a good carisma and knowladge to teach your low rank team how to play, so smurfing is not as op as it seems but still is awful to deal with if the smurf know how to destroy you
theres a point where you should be so much better mechanically though that youd dominate, a 2 to 3 rank difference should already be too much
6:05 theres no where to go but up, either kills or deaths🤣
smurfing is why I stopped Valorant, trying hard to boost my rank and then smurf comes in opposite team and ruins my motivation
Plot twist: all the silvers were smurfing, but ascs and immos xD
At this point we need an official Egg Tournament: Country vs Country sponsored by RITO (only for below Gold rank).
Silver is literally the Smurf hangout
It sucks as a silver player because you either top-frag with terrible teammates that stare at walls or you have an average game with a Reyna on the opposite team who is dropping a 30 bomb
Bro 4:08 did anyone see that kid go on the zip line so fast lmao
Since you said the 2nd dude was just playing Apex. He prolly doesnt play Val as much and didn't get to warm up before he had to fight.
these silvers are cracked out of their minds where are these type of silver teammates to carry me when i play
New Title : Silver Raze Main Says He Deserves Diamond
The only confirmed Smurf I've played with just played iso and topped frag all game
nobodys talkin about the smooth transition 21:19
3:20 idk why but your laugh reminds me of Whis from Dragon Ball Super
No one knows the struggle of silver unless they become one with the silver. It's a black hole where players go to die on the inside.
Silvers sometimes play like smurfs but its to much inconsistent
TBH, that's the reason why people get stucked in Dimond for years i guess. This Raze doesn't deserve Dimond at all
About the discussion of what to do when your friend plays really bad and what to tell him to lift him up, regardless of it being a comp match, Id try to tell him that he should try less instead of harder, the more desperate you are to play better when youre having a bad day the worse your performance gets. He shouldnt troll obviously, but make sure his body and mouse grip arent tensed up, that might not boost his performance by a lot, but the less you try the less youre gonna be frustrated when things dont work out the way you want to
as a sentinel main, i smurf to learn duelists and the only advantage i have is aim since randos dont usually play off each other
I'll keep saying it, people at silver shoot better than diamond players. Their brains just don't work.
Even smurfs in the bronze lobby play better than those Smurfs.
You should do something like 4 silvers with a diamond or asc smurf vs 5 golds. Just so you can see if the smurf makes enough of a difference to cause what would be a losing team to win. When you throw him into silver vs silver, the team with the smurf could just happen to also be better silver players.
"You make the job easier for your cracked out gamers" meanwhile in my silver lobbies my duelist are bottom fraging while me the kay-o and the sage are hard carrying *sighs in pain* also dude had no idea how to play neon so I called out when to runway for him.
bro istg, im a diamond and when playing in a silver lobby i feel like im in hell. people in silver are the ultimate counter to ppl with a brain that is somewhat developped
feel bad to that dia guy HAHHAHAHAHAH bad positioning lmao
Alternative title: proving theres no differences between diamond iron
I got 27 games in a row all lost btw, g1 drop to iron 3. everygame someone had over 28+ kills. Smurfing is a problem.
13:10 can confirm that this is true. I am currently diamond and I carried (consistent match MVP) my friend from silver to plat and he feeds every single game. But he consistently destroys me in deathmatch
This akashii dude plays raze, like me, uses cypher ghost, like me, and hive sword, just like me... I like this guy :))
It’s not like silver is bad, rather the range of player is so vast that it’s very challenging to get out
I watched for 2.5 minutes Cause this guy literally didn’t take a single breath the whole vid
to be fair the silvers kept pushing out of positionning taking uncessary risk and getting unpunished for it , i sympathy for that raze.
