The blessings dance was NOT created by the queen. THAT IS NOT CORRECT! Robam Chhoun Por was created by my grandmother, “Mâm Em Dok Peay” who was the wife of King Sisowath. She was head chief ballet mistress at the royal palace and a dance master. She created this dance during the coronation of King Sihanouk may 3rd 1941. The queen is NOT a dancer, however she was a patriarch that helped revive and kept Khmer arts and dance form alive. The dance masters that created most dances were Mâm Yimm Yann, Mâm Dok Peay, Deuk Por, Khun Mith, to name a few who’ve all passed away.

The ancient Khmer people were slaves of Siam throughout the 400-year period under the rule of Siam. And fully received the culture from Siam and another thing, the current Khmer people including the Khmer scholars themselves will rewrite their own history. Because most knowledgeable Khmer people, 99% of the country, have all been killed since the Khmer Rouge era, genocide. There were more than 3 million deaths in that era being killed alive. 🐃🐃
If those people were alive today they should be about 40 years old or older, so the new generation and the current Khmer people don't know the history of their own nation well enough. And it will also refer to the Cambodian educational system that is not well developed. Because knowledgeable Khmer people have been killed by the Khmer Rouge throughout the country.

@@urfriendlyDvarapalaunfortunately, this is the notorious thai narrative they always use in every Khmer video. It’s a Thai agenda 😂 it’s a toxic obsession they all have and I believe they are threatened by Cambodia and Khmer culture being too well known and that Khmer art is so much more magnificent and authentic than theirs
