  • Got my target score to the exact tick lol. Was a little tougher than expected - starts out with some pressure (heh) from reverse ticks on the first act and doesn't get any easier from there, the song is very back loaded for squeeze difficulty.
    There's a pretty gnarly semi-required tick drop in the solo at calibration that allows enough whammy for the post-bridge act, and the finale is a noticeably tight good ol' fashioned double squeeze on 8th notes in the last chorus that can easily kill a run.
    Luckily it can have a 1-frame bufferable HOPO back end by starting the act where I did so that was a nice bit of relief.
    This custom was made by the same charter as Looking Up but unfortunately this one was even more problematic - there are a few instances of the same riff inexplicably being charted differently between repetitions; you don't even really have to look for them, they're obvious.
    Other than that there's a handful of sections where the fretting doesn't quite match the pitches of the audio, definitely noticeable and needed to be tightened up. The pre-chorus sections especially (including the accented notes in pre-chorus 2 just being the same frets as everything else, would have been much better with a blue/orange attached to those 3 notes).
    The major problem though was the AWFUL charting in the bridge starting at 2:20 - some of those patterns are so flat out incorrect that it hurts to look at. For real, HOW do you get it half right and the other half so blatantly wrong when they are the exact same rhythms???
    The worst offender was the parts around the fast strumming; there's miscounted chords everywhere, and the 2nd fast strum bit is charted all off time with incorrect spacing (starting after the beat too for even more unnecessary jankery) so there's an extra note there instead of just the obviously only 7 that are actually played. I checked and the bass and drum charts had the proper amount of notes so it's pretty baffling how this one ended up so wrong.
    Ugh. Anyway.
    Sustain gap was well done for the most part. So this chart at least has something going for it which is nice.
