Hi Ian, thanks for the great video! As I know you were saying its great to see smaller companies/names for the thrill of the unknown, I thought I'd tell you about my show! Written by us, our play ‘Real Eyes’ is a new modern piece of drama that captures both the essence of brotherhood and the tribulations of being a teenager in the modern day. The play tackles themes of family, mental health and ambition, topics we feel deserve to be brought to the attention of the public. Through stimulating conversations and brotherly badinage we believe that this play has the ability to speak out to everyone about life through the eyes of individuals verging on adulthood. We ourselves are passionate young performers , and would love to prove that age is no barrier to the ability to create a powerful piece of drama. At 17 and 16 years of age, we believe we may be the youngest independent enthusiasts to have written, directed, produced, fundraised, designed, promoted and now perform a complete Fringe show. The 50 minute play is running at 14:35 each day from the 6th-10th August at the Fife Theatre (Venue 36, the Space on North Bridge). We’d love to hear what you think.
Thanks for your recommends. I follow comedy in northern Ireland and can recommend Paul Currie, Aaron McCann, Mickey Bartlett. I was looking for recommends for this year if there are more acts you have seen since this video. I'm on my honeymoon and we only have two days at the fringe. Thanks!!
Hi there thanks a lot for the video. I agree with many of your suggestions, but I always go at the end of the festival, not the start. By then, everyone knows what the best shows are (if they are still on).
Thanks, Jon a good alternative to my approach my daily vlogs will start on Wed when I arrive so hopefully I'll be able to give you a good idea of what to see and what not to see😬
Hey Ian, I am taking a show up to Edinburgh this year, so I am doing all I can to get the word out! If you fancy reviewing it, it would be great to see you there! Don't worry - I am not one of those comedians on the telly that you warned people to avoid! My show is about growing up poor, the benefits system, and fighting for something better. I, Tom Mayhew 7:30 The Mash House £5 in advance or PWYW
OMG! I saw THAT show too, last show I ever saw in Augustine's. I knew I was taking a risk but I went anyway, the idea had great potential but sadly the Augustine curse struck again. At least I stuck it out til the end but no, it didn't improve! While I'm here can I just give another fringe tip - the Half Price Hut on the mound, and you can see what tickets are available there each day on the app, with so many shows these days there are plenty of really good ones trying to fill venues with cheaper tickets.
Hi my Ed Fringe playlist has over 30 shows mostly 4 and 5 stars we'll shortly be doing a best of video cheers Ian ua-cam.com/video/-H4rH0x4WAY/v-deo.html

Also can you recommend any shows for earlier in the day. It looks like the shows I want to go to are mostly 7-10pm starts. Thanks a lot.
Bec hill is awesome. I have seen her play here locally before she was famous. Her storybook is a work of art.
