honestly mate, if not thinking about what im doing, and why im doing it, and talking it through wasn't hard enough, doing it one handed is next level skills for sure! lol thanks for the comment, defo drop one in the TDI
Great shout! i'll have a look... it goes through the gears well, its avery tight though... a bit of adjustment could be whats needed - thanks for the info!
Nice video. Do you need to do anything to the gear shifter in the car at all? Like lock it in to neutral? Or is it just a case of doing the work in the engine bay and swapping the shifter part out for a new kit?
Naaa mate, no need to lock the shifter in position - the only thing to be cautious of is the position of the little notch/cutout in the shifter itself as mentioned in the vid - you just have to ensure those line up otherwise you could do some damage to the shifter or to the spline on the gearbox, or both! - by forcing it on in a position that wasn't intended - So double, double check before you commit - but if those are aligned, you're gold! Hope that help you bro!
Hey man - sorry for not coming back sooner, ive been away with the fam :) Thanks for the comment - To answer the question, good! Its been absolutely fine, normal day driving and ive done a track day with it - i think there's a midges with of adjustment to be had in the connection cables, but all good... feel tight and precise in comparison... Do itttt!! :)
One handed king with that camera. Thanks i watched all of it. Might get one for my TDI

Hey mate don't forget to reset the shift cables. I just performed this mod, after a reset the positioning is crisp.
