In 2018, FEVER 333 got actually nominated for a Grammy in "Best Rock Performance" category, yet both Alan and Eric admitted in a stream that never heard of the band. So I guess the impact of a Grammy nomination is lower than one would expect. I should probably even remind: it is the guys that current slay as House of Protection (plus the singer still raps in Fever 333 with three new members)
Why people say that grammy has no meaning anymore? but these same people still looking up to grammy nominee and still talking about grammy and we still have conversarion about grammy!, People who is influential and artist has to stop talking and engaging anything about grammy in theirs platform, for Grammy to end. Even MY favourite Artist BTS they don't stop talking about grammy and they said multiple times that they want win a grammy. Me being their fans i hope they win even to i don't care but i want see their Happiness
The lovebites comparison is actually SUPER on point. As much as I love the band, I listen to them less than any of my other j-rock faves. I always say it's because I "have to be in the mood for power metal," but I think Asami's power metal voice is mostly what my hang up is. Again, I love the band.... but I'd much rather listen to Saiki, Mayu, Yukina, Angie/Hana/Oreo. But my first music love was Coheed and Cambria... so I'm also very used to being a massive fan of a band that people refuse to listen to simply because they "can't get into the vocals," so I also see the side of the DT fans. Though... lastly, I'm pretty sure the reason I've never been able to get into DT is because every time i've tried, the vocals pulled me out. What are you going to do?
Whoa! With the crying part you were talking about, was that the Brazilian guy who had the cluppo dress made and had someone wear it for him? His whole thing was soooo suspicious. How did you find out he was lying?
I know it's us tour, but some many fans other country in the world are tire just see band-maid us tour. Unlike Babymetal who are touring South America and again next year in Europe including the United States. I support band-maid since 2014, i'm not American and enjoy band-maid popularity in U.S. but me too i'm tire their are never came Canada.
As somone who made a joke about "Fox" being the the issue with the interview... I feel like, while I understand why Alan thinks that shouldn't be a focus... Fox constantly platforms people who hate anyone from another country. That's not the best outlet for highlighting an international band touring in the states. Just saying.
I think Tim Lambesis got a light sentence, because of fame and expensive defense that blamed him hiring a hitman on steroid use. You would think he would get at least 8 - 10 years. But being famous gets you off light. Maybe Tim is back on steroid, and that probably makes him really difficult to work with.
I don't know if this works for mopeds, but, in South Korea, they have services you can call that will send a driver to drive you and your car home if you are drunk.
James Labrie always sound alright on albums but terrible live. Been to their concert in japan many years ago and I didn't enjoy his singing style, he is one of the main reasons why I stopped listening to this band. I've heard from fans saying that his voice in their recent tour was disastrous.
Long comment ... The thing about BTS (Bulletproof Boy Scouts) is that they have had anti`s (anti-fans) & haters since they debuted a decade ago. BTS has always been spotless most of their career (most of them are still serving military right now) & these haters have magnifying glasses, just ready to pounce on BTS if the guys do anything wrong. These haters are now having a field day with this DUI. Suga has also gotten death threats, which if you know BTS history, death threats are nothing new to them. Suga (real name Yoongi) got fined a hefty $11,500. I dont know why it is that huge a fine, but Suga & all of BTS are now multi-millionaires, so maybe even the Korean government is being greedy, taking advantage of this situation. Maybe it is that huge because Suga is also serving military but as a civilian, because of his past medical issues (which coincidentally also involved a moped over a decade ago) & so because he is currently serving the government, the fines may be that huge. I am guessing of course. Imagine getting fined that much in the US for exactly what happened, riding a moped & then falling over, not harming anyone or yourself. And the KPop idol world can indeed be very toxic , but BTS (band) & ARMY (fans) are very rarely part of that toxicity except for the weirdest fans. HYBE is the umbrella music corporation that BTS is under now, which happened because of BTS` success. If you google `biggest band in the world`, chances are that most of the search hits will answer `BTS`. HYBE would have never happened if BTS was not the global phenomena they became to be. HYBE is so huge now (because of BTS) that they have mergered with Scooter Brauns Ithaca Holdings, which means artists like Justin Bieber, Black Eyed Peas, Ariana Grande etc etc are now in the same family as BTS, but in the west. You would have to do a BTS deep dive in order for you to know more. I am both ARMY & Maidiac, so I have made many comparisons/observations that are some divine coincidences between BTS & BandMaid. Here are some examples ... BTS & Bandmaid debuted the same year, a couple months apart. They both have (or had) twin lightning bolts in their band logos. Bandmaid sings about world domination, while BTS has already accomplished that years ago, as these days BTS normally only has stadium concerts with 50-90 thousand seats that are sold out in an hour & they have raked in $4.65 billion USD annually to the South Korean economy (about 0.3% GDP) for the past few years. Both bands are famously known for writing their own songs, i.e. in the KPop world most bands never wrote their own songs until BTS came along, becoming unique for writing their own songs since debut, while Bandmaid was not able to write their own songs until they left their first labels. BTS is known for their rapping, singing & complex choreography, while BandMaid is known for their instrument technical skills. BTS has dabbled a lot into rock music, while BandMaid has dabbled in rapping (Saiki). Those are just a tiny sample of observations and/or similarities. BTS will return as a group by middle of next year after all of them have been discharged & the hype & anticipation of that will be huge. But also imagine if BTS & BandMaid had a collaboration. BTS will bring in the aggressive hiphop they are known for, while the Maids will bring in the heavy rock, heh. It might break the Internet hehe, even though there are Maidiacs in the ARMY. BTS has done dozens of collabs already. But good luck to Suga/Yoongi, this DUI is not going to phase him. 10/25/24
Head on over to twitch right now for some live reactions.

Glad we finally got to watch the interview!

I think Joe did a very good job on editing the video, especially by adding the events since the interview up to the new album.

If BABYMETAL wins a Grammy, a lot of "metal heads will have their heads explode. 🦊 🖖❤
A Grammy means nothing. It's everything wrong with modern music from the US.
@@JL-go3 True, but it would get them a bit more attention. As, Dicodec mentioning them for example. 🦊 🖖❤
True! But Babymetal will become more mainstream like ghost or other band winning grammy awards. 😅

Would love to see them perform this song on the Grammys
Спасибо, дорогие 😊❤! Рада видеть вас, слушать с вами хорошую музыку! 🥰

Let's dream of a Band-Maid interview directly handled by the gaijin guys. It would just be wonderful.

I'm not BTS fan but respect your comment!! No reason for hate this band like other people hate Babymetal!
