- In a major win for people of color, five black women have taken home the titles of the world's top beauty pageants for the first time in history. South Africa's Zozibini Tunzi was crowned Miss Universe and joined CBSN to discuss this milestone in the pageant world.

The only time African traits are appealing is when they have a dash of some other race in the mix, black hair is unattractive... black lips are massive and what's more is that that skin complexion will never look good on camera, only light skin does. Which is why so many of your black counterparts in whatever industry lighten their skin. Black is just not beautiful, unless you talking about the color. Not the people.

But instead of doing that, rather take responsibility and change from that. No one is ugly. Just because someone looks different from you does not make them ugly. Beauty is rather found within not with the looks. There are people who are seen as beautiful for their looks but has actually got some nasty character.
I'm a strong Christian and I don't call anyone ugly even if they look different because I know God will not condone such behavior so I love all men just as God tells us to.

Honesty, confidence, intelligence, these are all beauty. People seem to think that beauty is strictly about physical attributes; nothing could be further from the truth.
The most physically attractive person can be a turn off, a disappointment, and an empty vessel.
Its funny how people say they don't care about pageants and are not racist but then have a lot to say when black women win not one but five big pageants there's a problem.

Its refreshing that this Miss Universe wears her crown during public appearances and interviews which in itself makes her even more unique than other winners who don't. Very classy, eloquent and intelligent woman.
Catriona did'nt need to wear her crown in all her public appearances, she had no need of wearing the crown to emphasize she was the rightful winner. She was the favorite to win from the start of the contest.

Skillful marketing and advertising by large corporations showing long Blond or Brunette hair as the normal standard and constant mind manipulation programming by the Status Quo has entered into the psyche of these black women
Deep down inside their psychological this fake hair has now become a MUST HAVE extended part of the body in order for them to belong or feel a part to a society which doesn't accept you for who you are

I understand how we have been saturated with the European standard of beauty , but I was always excited when I saw Black women regardless of the hue dark or light . It made me happy especially if the role was positive , a communications officer , a guidance counselor , a receptionist , a dancer or police officer , all different shades , all intelligent , all beautiful , and Black .
