Yeah when i 1st heard about Calpis from an american UA-camr living in japan I heard it as exactly that, lol, I actually didn't know they renamed it for the US, I only had original Calpis Water and Soda from japan, but I'd like to try some of the US variants someday.
Thai convenience stores are full of Japanese brand snacks and drinks too. I like Senbei. Tho it's an import snack so it's a little pricey. My fav is Potapota yaki. Various kinds of Kitkat that import from Japan are really famous. Even now I can easily buy 20-30 kinds of Japanese Kitkat from Thai shops.
I love Calpis, original flavour. We do have Meiji Hello Panda here and it's been a while since I had that but I know that I can easily finish family packs and that is dangerous for my health. I also like Pocky! My mom still likes going to Daiso on and off. Thanks a lot for sharing this clip from a previous stream. I had fun. Restaurant names seem to be weird to catch attention, so it's not surprise a lot of them don't make sense lol I've got a sweet tooth so the chocolate mushroom, bamboo shoot, pocky and the ramune soda candy in the blue bottle are all up my alley
