@@HeyyItssBrittanyynew sub here. If you saw any "sweater" nail designs through the past couple of winters, they use powder, best way I found to use them is after you have your base color on, put a matte top coat on, then using a liner brush paint the design on, take a spoon of the powder & pour it on the nail (don't dip your nail into the container, it will mess up the desi...I tried it once & found this out), then cure. I've only used clear powder, so mine turn out like tone on tone but you can def use other colors, I just haven't ventured into that at this point. After that cure, take a brush & brush away the excess powder. & Don't top coat that. I tried that as well & yes you can do it but I think it takes away from the design. Unless you're just going for a 3D type of look & If you like, go to my channel's community page & look around, my current nails have this on the middle fingers (you might have to expand the pic to see it as it's on the sides of my nails) but I also did the "sweater" look through the winter.
@@merleasmr3538 I have a set on now and I used one of the powders from the haul. I followed what @Dxl.oasiss said no top coat and it worked. I put down my base color, cured, then top coat, don’t cure yet first sprinkle the sugar powder on the nail while the top coat is still wet. Then cure after you apply the power. After the full cure use a brush to remove any excess power. No need to top coat again. It’s been about a week and my nails are still glittery (I’ll admit not as glittery from when first applied) Thank you for watching! ☺️💕
Thank you! I used the pink pigment from this set: a.co/d/a0w2knJ with an eyeshadow brush. I was trying to do aura nails but I don’t have an airbrush 😅 The base color is just a nude gel polish 💕

Its called sugared nails, put that fine glitter over base coat cure then don't top coat. I like you feel like the top coat takes away from it
Thank you for the suggestion!

Yesss, for sugar powders the most common way to use them is to not top coat after it
Ok. No top coat, thank you! Thanks for watching! 😊
But dont you need to top coat your nails to protect it and stuf ? How would you do it with no top coat?
@@merleasmr3538yeah top coat is to seal everything but with sugar nail you don’t because it takes away the effect of it ❤️

Use clear coat and before you dry it and add it like you do with sugar nails
Thank you!
How much was the total?
