There are fracking rigs in all of Weld county, and now in Boulder and Broomfield County too. I live in Erie myself, (in Vista Ridge) and I never notice them, hear them, smell them, etc. Unless your house is within a couple blocks of an active drilling site, then they're pretty much a non-issue. Erie has 30 neighborhoods, and 8500+ homes... and I currently know of 2 active fracking wells. So, the odds of having a house right next to one, are really pretty inconsequential. My wife and I live in Erie, and we love it here. I have no plans of moving, and I have the means to live pretty much anywhere I want to. Honestly, the lack of a Chipotle or Qdoba here, is a much bigger deal to me than the occasion fracking site. And no... I have no ties to the O&G industry, I'm a Realtor with a team that works all over Denver.

I failed to see any images of the multiple Fracking rigs right next to homes or schools. Erie pretends to be this great community to the outside world but in reality has sold it's soul and it's residents well being to oil and gas operations. This is sheer propaganda and should be labeled highly deceptive.
