that semi-final is too difficult for them I think... I don't think in 2021 they'll pass the semi-final without this girl... there are Australia, Russia, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Norway, Israel, Romania and Ukraine (who are strong almost every year) in that semi final... so sad for the others countries in the 1st semi, because they have less chance of passing than the countries of the 2nd semi final.

@@paccaleo nothing is sure. Maybe some of those countries will flop in 2021... They're not invincible. For example Israel - it will be hard for Israel to pass the semi final with these songs...

Sweden, Russia and Ukraine are sure finalists, and the others will fight... maybe Norway or Azerbaijan (and Australia) also will flop (2016 and 2018 vibes😅😅) and maybe Slovenia, North Macedonia and Croatia will make a miracle. Have been listening to this amazing band since ever and this is one of their best albums. As about the singer, I find her superb and so sweet! Cannot understand the negative criticism cause the girl rocks and sings beautifully ❤️❤️
Saw them live Tuesday night. They were amazing and she was amazing. I was thrilled and very happy. Cannot wait til the new album is out.

Every singer has a different voice, charm and appeal and everyone has a different style of singing. She is good. Appreciate her efforts to keep the song lively. Other earlier singers were also good. Comparing is fine but we should appreciate the efforts. We might not like everyone but doesn't mean we should demean them. Music is a huge element and everyone has their own style of representing it. Cheers and enjoy the beauty of music!!

Hooverphonic will always be my #1 favorite singer.
I haven't focussed on her vocals. The music and lyrics are so soulful.... so lucidly kissing the soul; And the way she looks so beautifully normal... regular... and so does the city & the life, including that weird dog and its anger; and this sustained layer of confusion at the back of my head that vocalist of Hooverphonic looks so different in songs - 'Mad about you, 'Anger never dies', 'Wicky'; so who is she then .... so much. All these feelings and thoughts; I couldn't focus on her voice command.
But whosoever conceived that song & lyrics; my soul is greatful to him/her.

I think this song is a statement to not be superficial in a relationship, to only ride with the ecstasy of it. Romance is good once in a while, but real relationships are built with a lot deeper connection than that... and the rest follows more naturally and effortlessly that way.
