Maybe a stupid question, but still. If I put the variator ring back (want to make my scooter slower), does the belt goes over it, or it has to pass next to it on the small shaft?
Some it adds some it subtracts it depends on the weight limits of the said scooter some are built slightly different than others but it all actually comes down to how much weight over all your putting on the scooter more you weigh heavier weights needed for take off and top end lighter weights if your light it's always good to experiment and mix 3 and 3 of different weights to get a better spec range like say you get a pack of 10 grams and 4.5s you put 30 grams from the 10 and 14.5 from the 4.5 giving you 44.5 grams decent acceleration with nice top end but it also depends on what kinda set up you have every matters but that set up is good on stock pistons for people between 150 to 180 pounds so you gotta do math 😂😂😂
The ring stops the two plates from closing all the way against each other, and thus limiting the belts travel up the sides and increasing speed. Just as a gear on a bike, the front gets larger and the back one gets smaller as the speed increases.
@@RichardBridges-cf9ez When shifting a bicycle and you want to go faster you shift the front gear to the biggest one and the rear gear to the smallest one.
Dont need to take the kickstart off (push it down to access the fixing behind)
It works 100% thanks
Does it work with new euro 5 chineese scooters?
What kind of TGB is this. I have a TGB Tapo 2012
Wait so to loosen the bolt in the middle you need to screw to the opposite direction, so no lefty loosey rightey thighty???
Idk

Over it because if it's beside it, it will get pinched when you put it back together and you might damage the belt.
how much does the speed increase ? i want to try this on my vespa
Difficult to say since it depends on the bike. Some might notice a good increase in top speed

What does the spacer ring restrict or unrestrict?

On a bike the front and back both get larger so I'm not sure what you are referring to

What does that do
Does this work on a Big Boy Chinese scooter as well?
I assume it would work for all having a restricted variator. But no further knowledge of the brand
Thank you much appreciated
@@arshad9161 did it work?
Completely stripped mine, didn’t have 1.
Maybe it’s brand specific
@@arshad9161 yeah maybe thx for your reply
So, just take the Ring and my bike rides Faster ?
yes
its a easiest way to make scooter faster😊
Us this gonna blow my bike up 🤣
No its not going to do damage to ur bike its put there so the bike doesn't go faster than the law wants
