Probably the most enjoyable caribou hunting video I’ve seen so far. Just hunting, like it actually is (except maybe the tent blind😂). Well done and a lifetime of memories.
@@Reillysluck458 that’s really what I’m striving for with my channel. Just showing it how it really is. You’ll enjoy our other hunts as well be sure to check them out!
What a beautiful place to hunt. I could stand to be there for a few days. My first caribou was in 1963 in the Brooks Range. I'm 77 now and just can't walk like I used to. I do believe I'll hunt for that river, I could still get one there !
That last mass crossing of caribou is probably exactly our prehistoric ancestors saw and experienced nature. Plentiful and mostly undisturbed. You have a great privilege to be able to fly into mostly untouched places. Thx for sharing.
I’m jealous of the fact you are hunting with your dad. I was never able to do that. But made sure I did it with my sons as much as possible. I’m from Pennsylvania and have been to AK last 3 summers for salmon and coming again this year with my sons. Want to do a caribou trip next year. Which herd/location would you recommend? We are huge archery hunters so please take that into consideration.
I’m extremely lucky, If your a big archery family head up the haul road and hunt the archery only corridor. Can be really good hunting and it’s affordable to just drive up the road. Good luck!
@@Steve-rr3gc it defiantly varies. But most of the time if you make your way all the way north to the north slope anytime August-October you can find caribou.
Sorry if someone has asked. First Video watching. Hey, has your Dad ever gone hunting with The Billy Molls!? Kinda looks familiar🤔 if not he’s got a twin lol. Enjoyed the video!
Awesome footage of the caribou crossing!! I want to be there really bad. I've been watching any Alaska caribou videos I can find to learn what I need to come up there. Can I email or call you guys to get info about where and when to go? I'm a independent , simple man that knows the outdoors of Montana and can't wait to get to Alaska soon. Thanks for sharing video.

@@RJ-zf7fw there’s a lot of research and time flying and obviously years and year of skill development to learn to fly backcountry like this. My old man is one of the best. We flew 5 or so hours looking for the caribou before we actually found this spot

I watched the video again and just amazed at the end where they’re all swimming across the river. Huge bull after huge bull.
Pretty crazy to watch! We could have sat there all day watching bull after bull
"Look out boys your surrounded'' ! Wow what an experience !
It was awesome!
Haven't seen that many animals in a long time ! Great video

My suggestion is to call and talk to as many outfitters as possible and go with your gut on who feels right. Lots of ways to research out there.
Alaska is the most beautiful place on earth 😊
It sure is!
Stunning!
Thanks!!
Yeah, that was priceless. Where do you say you buy those tents👍👍👍
Well that’s a north face VE-25 can be bought online. But they sell them as a tent not a blind by the way 😂😂😂
Shooting that bull from inside the tent was awesome lol
Likely to never ever happen again, especially with a bow! Haha
Fantastic! Dad adventures, treasure it.
When are you going to be selling apparel with that great logo?
I got some hats on the way so it’s in the works!
Dibs on the first run
40 mile? I've had this happen up a river....
This is up a river as well. But up a different river I think.. haha
Wow❤

I don`t like that shots are not checked if there was an injurious hit.
All of our shots are always checked
How does one set up a hunt like this?
Well a fly in caribou hunt in Alaska is what I would google. We are DIY and that’s how we have always been.
