I didn't know that nautilus was a toplaner back then that explains the several buffs his receiving in wildrift. They want not only in toplane but on jungle and most of the the nautilus main are toplaners or jungler

He was made as a jungler, that's why his q latches onto walls and drags him and it also gives mana + cooldown refund .

RIOT removed RESISTANCES from Nautilus's W... Once upon a time, activating W ( shield ), u also gained armor and MR...
W resets auto's... that's a huge part of naut's damage early game, you could have stomped that morde.
Also Q hit on walls has lower CD. Abuse that for roaming and chasing.
