Amazing analysis sir. I have been reading Marxism for around 9 years now, and every single time I am reading and watching something scholarly like this analysis of yours, I feel something new or something more valuable hs been added into my Worldview of Matxist studies. Basically I'm a self-claimed Matxist 😊, and this is the branch where I genuinely find my niche. I've been associated with working class movement for around a decade here in India. Thank you dear sir for these valuable words.
Very clear, lucid and comprehended explanation of the theory . I really got my concern clearer up to greater extent. We are obliged honourable Sir for your time and work.
What happened to the description of reification? Maybe you come back to it later in the video Thanks you for these vids sir, they are very enjoyable to learn from, indubitably.
@@masoodraja short question for you that I hope you have time for: if a work is considered problematic, does that mean that it is a "bad" work? As an example, the recent "Dune" film that came out last year had no actors of Middle Eastern or North African (MENA) descent, yet it uses elements of these cultures in its art design to create the Fremen culture and in so doing arguably appropriates them. Does this mean that "Dune" is a bad movie? I know my question is simplistic but it would help me think about it to know what you think. Thank you
@@ResistanceQuest In my opinion all works are problematic in one way or the other. I see no harm in creatively engaging with other cultures. The problem happens when those representations offer the others as static, exotic, and/ or ossified.
Thank you so much for this lecture. I was anxious about Marxism, but your way of explaining it made it so easy for me to get. I really appreciate your efforts.
Putting major Marxist ideas in such a crisp and short lecture is best done by you Sir. I have applied from an open University for my masters but I want to be a professor myself. You are a great help in understanding a concept and then the reading and analysis becomes perceptibly easier.... Many regards...
Thank you. There is not much to say about it. It’s just a term used to pint out any reductive or thin understanding of Marxism. Just see my video on Reflectionism, as that is a form of vulgar Marxism.
Professor Massoud please, whenever you mention any title of any book and it's author , please spell it so that l can write it .Many thanks. You are really an ambulant library

Obviously, I cannot answer this in a comment. But pick up any Marxist concept and see how it helps you read the novels. Anyway, this is question related to writing and only your professor who knows about your particular skills and level can answer this. Please take a look at some of my research and writing related videos.
Bourgeois means the upper middle class as far as I come to know . But , doesn't it include the aristocrats ( multi-billionares )? Secondly, after the industrial revolution ,we see the rise of middle class . Does this middle class refer to this so called " bourgeois"?
Thank you. For this please read Marx. In his time it was not the petty bourgeois that he is talking about but the industrial bourgeois class. So, it is not the middle class but rather those who own the mode of production. Please listen to the videos on the communist manifesto, it has a clear explanation of this class.
