Sounds like Non fiction November might be for you!! ❤ The prompts are CODE, PATH, SHOT, and JOIN. Be creative in choosing TBR. Also a fun way is to pair a fiction that corresponds with your NF choice .
Im pretty behind this year on my reading goals. My goal was 80 and I’m at 45. I’ve done reasonably good about keeping up with my book club which was one of my goals. It’s ok. I’m gonna try to not feel bad about it if I’m not 100 percent finished with all my goals at the end of the year.
I only set one reading goal for that year and that was to read 82 books and I have surpassed that goal. Next year I want to set more goals for myself that focus on me reading physical books that I already own and purchasing fewer books.
This is the first year I made any goals. I started out easy with a general goal of 48 books this year. In February I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer and have undergone a complete hysterectomy, port placement, 6 rounds of chemotherapy (just completed yesterday.) I will move on to radiation treatment in 4-5 weeks. With all that going on I am so proud I am ahead of my reading goal! It has been hard, because some weeks I was not able to focus on and remember what I was reading (called chemo brain.) Your videos gave me several suggestions for GOOD books to read. I’ve got no time to read bad books! Thank you Sarah.
You're doing great! ⭐ My 2024 goals are: reading 100 📚 (✔️on track); with 50% or more 📚 from library (~40% now); + trying 12+ 📚 outside my comfort zone (✔️on track). Happy reading! 📚❤️
Part of goal checkins is to assess and adjust yearly goals. A year is a long time and life happens. What may seem important in January may become unimportant later on. Knowing why you aren’t meeting a goal can be valuable. (As in your Harry Potter goal).
I was just looking at my Mina Lima’s and wondering when the next would be out…now I know 😢. Thanks for the info!!

I’m currently like 200 pages behind on my reading goal, but I’m not concerned about it. I’m doing great with the buzzard reading challenge.
