Soyeon clearly prefers Miyeon's singing tone to her speaking/rapping tone most of the time, which limits Soyeon's use cases for her. Not to say her spoken parts don't come to play! She just tends to have a much cuter tone, and Soyeon has to work extra hard to get bad girl energy from Miyeon, and that's okay!! 1) No one in music academia is using that stupid ranking and none of the UA-cam vocal "experts" knows what they are talking about (otherwise, they'd been busy making money by coaching instead of having to rely on fan biased UA-cam videos). 2) Vocal technique and musicality really are not important for Kpop - no one in Gidle is a skilled technical vocalist. The lines distributions are based on tone and versatility: Miyeon is not a worse singer than Minnie, but she has a less distinct and genre versatile tone than Minnie and Yuqi. She also doesn't compose and probably has less interest in singing/music than the producer line. I'm sure no one in Gidle gives a fuck about line distribution and who has millisecond more in one song

1) No one in music academia is using that stupid ranking and none of the UA-cam vocal "experts" knows what they are talking about (otherwise, they'd been busy making money by coaching instead of having to rely on fan biased UA-cam videos). 2) Vocal technique and musicality really are not important for Kpop - no one in Gidle is a skilled technical vocalist. The lines distributions are based on tone and versatility: Miyeon is not a worse singer than Minnie, but she has a less distinct and genre versatile tone than Minnie and Yuqi. She also doesn't compose and probably has less interest in singing/music than the producer line. I'm sure no one in Gidle gives a fuck about line distribution and who has millisecond more in one song
